What the hell is going on that our forces might encounter Iranian military? And BTW, American news media sucks on this story. Twitter has been a much better source of news.

The secret message: SURRENDER to Iranian forces should you encounter. We’re a Muslim Nation and we don’t fight other Muslim Nations....Barack Hussein Obama.

I don’t know. This makes sense to me. It’s easy to see how Iran could force a military confrontation with US forces to unify the populace with a distraction. We should avoid playing into that if at all possible.

If they run into the Iranian Republican Guard, no doubt Miranda rights would be administered given they are listed as a foreign terrorist organization...........

I think you’re correct Harry. This is an old trick, a way to unite against an outsider to distract from internal turmoil.

That’s the obvious assumption, since we have them sandwiched in. Twitter has been saying that all of the Persians stopped posting about an hour ago. There were reports of the police going door-to-door to shut down those with satellite internet. Hard to judge the veracity of these reports, but it doesn’t help when our news media is taking the weekend off.

We should expect the same level of civility as we get from them “encountering” our military...especially in AR...
