an angry mob that included many ACORN supporters nearly knocked New York state Sen. James Alesi, a Republican, down on the floor and spat in the face of his chief of staff....

The protesters were reportedly upset that two Democratic senators decided to caucus with Republicans, a move that when finalized by the state Senate would hand Republicans control of it. Majority Democrats have shut down the chamber to prevent the transfer of power.

Who runs ACORN?

WEB SITE------http://acornhousing.org/TEXT/wwa.php

MISSION STATEMENT-----Who We Are (housing)

National non-profit ACORN Housing has been providing free housing counseling to low and moderate income homebuyers since 1987. We have opened HUD-certified, Fannie Mae-approved housing counseling offices across the US, helping over 50,000 families to achieve homeownership.

Why is it that the Left often engages in tough tactics and gets their way, while Conservatives "take the high road" or turn the other cheek... and here we are?

Samuel Adams is rolling in his grave wondering where our balls are.

Ya gotta love the AP's take on this:
Back at the Capitol, more than 150 supporters from two groups closely aligned with Democrats chanted in the Senate lobby, thrusting signs that said: "Senate Not for Sale" and "Voters not Donors." They referred to the involvement of billionaire B. Thomas Golisano, who has long sought to reform Albany politics and who helped broker the coalition deal.
Gee, I wonder why the AssPress didn't give us the names of the two groups?

The IRS has targeted NPO's as the locus classicus for money laundering and tax evasion. 501C's are used to run just about every kind of fraudulent accounting schemes, some observers say.

As part of the Tax Exempt Compensation Enforcement Project, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to examine non-profit organizations (NPO), to learn more about the practices nonprofits follow as they fill out Form 990, the main public disclosure documents for charities and foundations, and whether accounting fraud and tax evasion is taking place, and whether the compensation of specific individuals is excessive, and whether instances of questionable compensation practices may evade IRS and banking and SEC laws.

The IRS will examine NPO insider transactions, such as (1) loans, the (2) sale, (3) exchange or (4) leasing of property to non-profit officers and others. In particular, the IRS will look to see how organizations report (5) "excess benefit transactions" on Form 990, and (6) executive pay.

News agencies reported that some 2,000 charities will be reviewed under a new IRS enforcement effort to determine whether NPO are abusing their tax-exempt status. "We are concerned that some charities and private foundations are abusing their tax-exempt status by paying exorbitant compensation to their officers and others," said IRS Commissioner Mark Everson.

The IRS has received complaints that 501C’s are being used to run just about every kind of off-the-books accounting fraud. In one case, the president of a non-profit organization was embezzling donations and was engaging in accounting fraud by having the NPO pay his entire apartment lease which was fraudulently booked on non-profit documents as a "business office." When the incident was reported to the IRS, they agreed that documentation to prove the fraud existed, but that the IRS had the staff to investigate non-profit fraud solely in amounts totaling $100,000 or more.

Concerns have also been raised that the IRS has been stymied in its efforts to penalize falsified tax documents and official financial instruments to cover-up theft, and the failure of individuals to report stolen money as income.

Nonprofits, charities, municipal authorities, trusts, foundations, and unions, have the potential and may, in fact, be major money laundering conduits. They wrap themselves in all sorts of high-sounding causes while engaging in activities that are fraudulent and benefit insiders at the expense of law-abiding Americans.

Legal fees, a line item in most non-profit accounting reports, are well-used money laundering schemes that evade US taxes and use fraudulent accounting techniques to violate US banking and SEC laws.

=======================================

ACORN is a tax-exempt non-profit. The SEC needs to investigate financial improprieties and operations subsidized by the government to determine:

(1) whether ACORN is a conduit to launder monies to pay individuals for questionable activities that violate the civil rights of American citizens;

(2) whether officers of publicly-held companies are using ACORN to launder money and are booking donations to ACORN as business expenses in order to evade US taxes, and avoid banking and SEC laws;

(3) whether ACORN evades FEC laws by illegally transferring NPO donations to campaign accounts.

(4) Tampering With a Record or Otherwise Impeding an Official Proceeding makes it a federal crime for any person to corruptly alter, destroy, mutilate, or conceal any document with the intent to impair the object's integrity or availability for use in an official proceeding or to otherwise obstruct, influence or impede any official proceeding. Individuals involved in such acts are liable for up to 20 years in prison and a fine.

ACTIONABLE OFFENSES MIGHT INCLUDE:
(1) Colluding to file false documents;
(2) Not reporting crimes against the state (aiding and abetting)
(3) Forcing taxpayers to underwrite crimes against the state without their knowledge or consent (constitutes the crime of second degree coercion of taxpayers, and should be prosecuted at once).
(4) Colluding to rig funding legislation.

This is our fault.

My fault.

A man who stands for my point of view was attacked by parasites.

And I wasn't there to defend him.

I must apologize, and extend my promise that I intend to be there next time.

Never in my life did I believe that the Democratic Party would ever want a dictatorship. And this is what I see forming with groups like Acorn around. If they have a track record of fraud they need to be disbanded.

Why indeed. These types of tactics must be forcefully confronted or they will only get worse. The thugs should be identified and arrested as a minimum and direct assault must be countered with as much force as necessary.

All this will do is radicalize the White People. Further dividing people into race-groups. Obama will be not a uniter but a person who will divide the nation. Ever wonder why David Duke and the KKK were behind Obama?

“Today’s disgraceful actions outside the Senate chamber were clearly sanctioned by Secretary of the Senate Angelo Aponte,” Winner said. “He put the well-being of staff and legislators in jeopardy by allowing a violent protest in a restricted area of the Senate lobby.”

The hell with Aponte. Do any of these Republicans have a damned cell phone? Get on the horn and call the State Police. Tell them there is a riot at the State House by a violent mob. Maybe that would get their asses moving.
