Floridas Republican Governor Charlie Crist is getting a big boost for his U.S. Senate bid from a bevy of GOP A-listers. Helping to raise money for Crist in Washington are Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) chairman Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, and 2008 GOP presidential nominee Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz.
The power trio will be on hand along with yet other Republican luminaries to help attract major donors at an event for Crist slated for June 22 at the NRSC, according to a report in The Hill, which obtained an invitation.
The week before the Washington fete, Crist will be grinning and gripping at a warm-up fundraiser back home in Jacksonville. Scheduled to take place at a private home, that events host committee is headed up by Jacksonville mayor John Peyton.
According to a report in the Jacksonville Observer, polls show Crist comfortably leading Marco Rubio, his main GOP Primary challenger, by a 3-1 margin. Crist also handily defeats likely Democratic candidate Kendrick Meek.

Marching Rino’s.
ugh. Go Rubio.
RINOS for RINOS. Can’t wait to get them out of office. It’s real simple; they don’t represent our views.
Are these the big tent guys?
Lock step, goose stepping RINO’s
The GOP continues to be clueless, and they may never recover. “U.S. conservatism” is the biggest loser of all, because of all of the RINOs still in the entire GOP. How does “U.S. conservatism” successfully “get around” all of the non-conservatives from BOTH MAJOR U.S. POLITICAL PARTIES for, both, the short-term and for the long-term?
It may be a mild painkiller but it aint that good. Damn.
LOL wrong post to the wrong thread.
Supposed to go with this one.
“Man on pot during suicide attempt (Headline of the Day?)”
I have constantly returned fund raising letters with my notes, that until they thoroughly investigates Bary Soetoro's, the illegal alien usurper's coupe de etat for the White house, about his Constitutional requiremenst for the office of President for the U.S., they are not going to get a penny from us. The most effective way to get our voice heard is to hit them right in their pocket book!!!
Hey, it almost works for this thread.
Im so angry at Cornyn, the so called 3rd most conservative member of congress. Argh.
Think of the positive impact these men could have had, by backing Rubio.
Folks who ask for us to reach out to ‘moderates’, please take another look at how that kills our efforts to replace moderates with Conservatives.
We are moderating Conservatism out of existence, and yet folks still state we are too Conservative, and demand we be a little more moderate. Those that do, please don’t worry your pretty little heads. The big (death to Conservatism) ten is in brand spanking new condition, and Conservatives are being shown the door you thought moderates were being ushered out through.
Let’s see how concerned you are over that.
