Let’s see how all these “moderates” that voted for Obama feel after Alan Dershowitz gets a hold of these detainees.

“Since then, Senator Dick Durbin of Illinois, the chamber’s No. 2 Democrat, said his colleagues have had second thoughts about the restrictions because they could make it harder for the administration to proceed with closing the facility.”

I have always thought of Durbin as #2...

Hey, Dershowitz is the guy who says we probably shouldn't torture people, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do in order to survive. I don't think he'll be volunteering his services anytime soon.

These guys might have a hard time finding counsel, as most of their old lawyers now work in the Holder DOJ. And, I'm really not kidding.

I hope they like their jobs because if we don’t unelect them; Obama will. If he gets the power over them; they will be useless.

Agreed....instead of reading them miranda rights, etc., execute them right on the battlefield and class them as “KIA”.

Criminal courts / judges would do well to declare that they have no jurisdiction over enemy combatants and dismiss the suits.

If not, the jury could do the job for them after an embarrassing trial.

Would be very interesting to see how the Obama administration would scramble to deal with that.
