The most recent master list of ping lists is from 2007 (over two years old - egad!). So, after another FReeper suggested tonight that we need an updated master list, I figured, take some initiative.
Anyways, if you have a ping list, or more than one, (please) say so on this thread so I can compile a new master list over the next week.
[Apologies if this duty was someone else's and I accidentally took over.]
Thanks! :)
Undergrad grading is a crap shoot, especially when it comes to essays and classes grades on a curve.
I have the DFW Freeper list.
I’m a minister. I’ll do the wedding. And if I’m not legally married, I’ll even perform my own soon funeral.
Point of ORder; Walleye and Perch fillets up on Lake Erie this week. MMMmmmmmmmGood!
He was a republican (maybe a Rino just because he supported the ACLU, but I don’t know) and he loved the articles about the First, whether or not who it supported or not. He truly believe in Natural Law being the bases of not just the constitution but all law and loved Scalia. I just seem to drag FR to my worse classes when I do try to use it :D.
That’s good.
My advice to you...don’t cite FR directly, but allow your fellow FReepers to guide you to other more “palatable” (relative to your professor’s tastes) sources.
Are you in Grad school? (I don’t know, I think I might have deserved this one, but yeah, it can be depending on the professor. At our school is smaller, so we are able to get to know what our professors want, very well. Either makes life easier or a living hell if you can never met the standards, because they maybe the only teaching the class ever. )
My son has been in the air for 12 hours now on his way to another tour in Iraq. Covet your prayers.
Out of order. You can't have fun at a parliamentary proceeding. You can't even talk about fun.
IIRC the motion is on the table to create a list without names.
The motion has been seconded (even though it took minutes).
The list is as follows:
All favor of adopting this list say "eye".
Sounds like a real "New York City" Republican. LOL
I got my BA in communications so I know a little bit about research. As great as FR is, it is not quite as useful as the college library and the periodical guide...:(
Funny, even when I was in school, we repeatedly went to traditional sources like Newsweek and U.S. and World Report for evidence in argumentation. The joke was that none of us respected them as being truthful, merely effective as a debating tool. We used to call them US P.U.'s and World Distort.
I usually don’t, but good advice none the less :D
The Weekend Youtube Music Video Thread
Nope, but I am at a so-called “public Ivy.” Thank God I was in the Engineering School; this place tried to turn me into a liberal but failed, and instead, turned me into a libertarian.
What the heck is an *Undead Thread*?
You’d be surprised. There are some real smart Freepers here. After all, how else could they bring down a lying Rat bastard like Dan Rather? :-)
“Ear, Ear....whas up wid de “Eyes?”
Eye, matey!
This (see link) is an undead thread.

Also, there was a cat tree thread around here that apparently attracted trolls off Google who were summarily terminated by the mods.
You’re a good egg Noonan.

I don't think I could do that with any of the others in my department except for a few. Even at our conservative college we have the liberals float towards us, especially towards reporting (However, we are not Commies, the Communists and the future Ann Coulters are both in the Politics. I love those classes :D). However, in visual comm. my professor and friend got in a ten minute conversation on how liberals like themselves could not defend the second amendment. I about died laughing, to the point I couldn't explain it to them.
Have a good night rab.
pinging the ping list
