It is not intended to prevent crime.

Good lord, at an average cowboy action match the participants will burn up . . . lessee, six stages times 10 pistol rounds, 10 rifle rounds, 4-6 shotgun rounds . . .
Almost everyone uses the same round in their handgun AND their rifle, for convenience and safety, so that's 120 rounds in just one match. And around here you can shoot just about every Saturday if you're so inclined.
This legislation would mean a quick end to all cowboy action shooting in Cali . . . . also IPSC and the other pistol matches. And never mind actually practicing . . . .

That’s the reason why we shoot in NV, not mexifornia.

They can’t control guns so they will try and control ammo. Hillary Clinton talked about doing this same thing years ago.

50 rounds a month? That’s 20 minutes range time at a leisurely pace including reloading.
As if ammo smuggling wouldn’t happen.
It will in fact create criminals out of law abiding citizens. Eventually even the most timid creature will attack when backed far enough into a corner.

"..."handgun" ammunition is not defined anywhere in the bill, it effectively means "all" ammunition..." Or, it could just as easily me no ammunition is limited.
For years as my son was growing up, he would buy any type of ammunition in Wisconsin that he wanted. I once asked the clerk about selling "handgun" ammo to minors and he simply showed me a rifle that fired the same cartridge.
Answered my question!

How can state government tell me I can only buy and shoot 50 rounds of ammunition per month to be competent with my handgun (or any gun) Bacause they can. Do you REALLY think you live in a free country anymore?
They call you "citizen" but in reality you are now a "subject."
May I see your papers please?

How limiting how much ammunition we buy is supposed to do anything to help prevent crimes or help solve crimes is a complete mystery to anyone who has seriously examined this legislation. Think it through, think it through, if you can...

Meanwhile the Obamunist media ridicules the “paranoid gun nuts” for stockpiling ammo.

This will require registration and a system to let ammo vendors know someone has not purchased ammo an hour ago.
Otherwise the state may not find out that someone has purchased 50 rounds at one store, then a single round at another until months have gone by.

Ask the pol about the number of California crimes in the last 10 years that used more than 50 rounds of ammo.

The 9th Circuit has incorporated the 2A.
This would immediately come under 2A attack and would lose.

CA and NJ- where the 2nd Amendment went to die.
If the citizens of those states are so lazy as to let THEIR legislators get away with such nonsense, they deserve what they getting!
But if they turn off entertainment tonight and join in the fight... I'll stand up next to them!

FYI, there is no NEED for the Supremes to consider 2nd Amendment Incorporation! FACT: The 2nd Amendment is SELF-incorporated to all government entities at every level. It is MORE ABSOLUTE than the 1st Amendment, or any of the others, because the wording forbids not only CONGRESS, but ANYONE from infringing on it. The 1st says Congress shall make no law.... The 2nd say shall NOT be infringed! Period! End of debate!
