Unfortunately, we can't help you with your issue. Although we are responsible for the production of the CBS Sports.com web site, we have nothing to do with the CBS Tv coverage. For this you will need to contact your local CBS Affiliate.

My email to all (thanks for posting contact info):
You advertise with David Letterman? David Letterman is a crass low-life. His comment about Sarah Palin’s daughter is over the top, crude and rude. Let him ply his trade in smoke-filled lounges with the other denizens of the dark. He has no place on national TV.
Best Western got back with me this morning and basically attempted to wash their hands of Letterman by saying that a media buying firm is responsible for the time slots that their commercials go into. They had no voice in the matter as if I believed that.
Lame, lame, lame, lame.
They do know however that they have indeed lost one customer over the Letterman fallout.
OK — I got this letter from Ancestry.com (see below). I believe them. A couple of other sites responded saying they only had marginal ads posted on CBS’s website (or something like that). I am beginning to wonder if this list is very accurate??
Dear xx: Thank you for bringing this important matter to our attention. I can confirm to you that Ancestry.com is not an advertiser or sponsor of the CBS Late Show with David Letterman. It is unclear how the companys name ended up on this list, but it appears to be a mistake. We would appreciate your help in spreading the correct information. May I ask if theres a website that you got our information from? Im hoping to reach out to them directly to let them know.
Thanks,
Ancestry.com Public Relations
They are advertisers for CBS/local affiliates. CBS or it’s local affiliates then places them at various slots, including Letterman. They could protest being placed at Letterman and since they advertise on the network/local branch, they can make their voice heard on this issue.

By subscribing to the list, you are adding your name to a letter
that will be sent to CBS and all sponsors of David Lettermans Late Night Show stating that you will not purchase
any product sold by a sponsor of his program until CBS fires him!
BUMP!!!! BUMP THIS
Just in case you think your voices are not heard.....
I put a comment on the Intel corporate blog yesterday...of course it never made it cause I am sure they are still “reviewing it”.
So today I tried calling the Intel corp for over half an hour...kept getting one voice mail after another...
Finally, I left a message for one of their Investor Relations Regional Managers.
Within an hour I got a sincere voice mail message from him, “I am sorry you could not get through on the phone to Intel.
The person to contact about this subject is Suzanne Fallender and can be reached at suzanne.p.fallender@intel.com
So , I think the advertisers are taking this Letterman fiasco very seriously!
Keep at them!
Be sure when you all contact the advertisers, that you ask for a written response re: the company’s LONG-TERM decision for advertising on the Letterman show. (And when they tell you they don’t “sponsor” any specific show, be aware they’re just using a technical distinction — meaning they’re not a sponsor the way advertisers were once-upon-a-time a “sponsor.” They can still veto any show they don’t want to advertise on)
