Elephants are large majestic creatures that are known to be powerful and fiercely protect their own from attacks of predators such as lions. There are known incidents where lions have successfully hunted and killed adult elephants. In these circumstances, the lions stalk the elephant herd, trying to infiltrate then isolate the weak. Once the weakest has been identified, it is only a matter of time before the lions attack, attempting to kill the much larger animal.
You may ask what this has to do with todays political world. Is it a coincidence that many of Americas enemies are taking aggressive action? These actions remind me of a pride of lions, stalking their prey, trying to identify the weakness. Once it is identified, they attack with a savage ruthlessness and lack of concern for their enemy.
President Obama has shown severe signs of weakness with each and every overseas trip he has taken since being elected to office. His constant apologizing and a tone of appeasement have given the enemies of the United States the sign of weakness that they need to mount an attack.
North Korea has taken some extremely aggressive action toward the United Sates since Barrack Obamas first overseas trip. These actions include the test firing of six short range ballistic missiles and a successful underground nuclear test. In recent weeks, a new high tech missile launch facility has completed construction after ten years of effort by the North Koreans. This facility is capable of firing the Taepodong-2 Long Range Ballistic Missiles. The missile has an estimated range of at least 3,500 miles, giving it the capability of striking Alaska or Hawaii. Some experts believe that the North Koreans could produce a version capable of reaching the west coast of the United States.
Looking at all the details, it seems the North Koreans are testing their limits with the new President because of a perceived weakness. Adding together a recent nuclear test, a new missile facility, a long range missile ready for test, a dying North Korean leader, and a U.S president showing sever signs of weakness in foreign policy equals a highly volatile situation that could escalate into war.
On June 16th, the U.S. and South Korean presidents are scheduled to meet in Washington. I would look for the North Koreans to produce a large display of force, to include the launch of the dangerous Taepodong-2 Missile. This aggressive action will test the will and strength of President Obama.
The North Koreans should not be underestimated. They possess the fourth largest military force in the world. They are fierce and passionately anti-American. They have been brainwashed by a Communist regime since a young age to hate Americans. The soldiers have do not know any better and follow their leader blindly into fierce battle.
Mr. President, your public display of weakness and appeasement is a dangerous game. Our enemies do not understand empathy; they only understand force and aggression. Your weakness could lead us into a conflict that makes Iraq look like a playground
Good one.
Maybe some Freeper can start a prayer thread for 0bama. Those are always popular.
I had the same thought. I get the point but elephants and lions? He could do much better.
RINOs aren’t elephants, are they?
Recognizing that, the analogy can stay intact!
