[RINO] Sen. Martinez 'delighted' with Sotomayor after private meeting

WASHINGTON — She greeted him in Spanish. He handed her a copy of his book. They chuckled over some recent mishaps.

Conservatives hoping Republicans in the Senate will block Sonia Sotomayor's ascension to the U.S. Supreme Court best not look to the senator from Florida: After a 30-minute meeting with Sotomayor Tuesday, a "delighted" Sen. Mel Martinez pronounced her smart, likeable and prudent.

"I think she's a very, very bright person, very, very much someone who the Supreme Court will find will fit in very well," said Martinez, a Republican from Orlando.

He said he will withhold judgment about whether she deserves a lifetime appointment to the court until her Senate confirmation hearings this summer, "but I should say I am very, very impressed with her, not only her personal qualities, but her understanding of the role of the judiciary, and the role of a judge."

Race rules, every time.

They're both Caucasian.

Racism was bad enough but now bigotry is based on what continent your ancestors came from or what country defeated your ancestors before crossbreeding. The lack of tolerance by liberals is astounding.

The 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals examined in Maloney v. Cuomo a claim by a New York attorney that a New York law prohibiting possession of “nunchucks,” a martial arts weapon, violated his 2nd Amendment rights. Sotomayor and the 2nd Circuit affirmed a lower court’s decision that the 2nd Amendment applies only to federal laws and not to states or municipalities.

Sotomayor flunks legal logic 101: If the States can pass laws which nullify the Constitution (including the Amendments) then we would have anarchy. The States could pass laws, for example, which prohibit freedom of speech, assembly, petition, and the press. The entire Constitution would be a joke, if it isn’t already. A book to read is “The Dirty Dozen” about 12 Supreme Court cases by Levy and Mellor.

Sotomayor is not qualified to be a Supreme Court judge. And U.S. Senator Mel Martinez (R-FL) is not qualified to sweep my garage floor.

I now believe that the phrase RINO is inadequate. I am now substituting the word “CAPO”. Those were the concentration camp prisoners entrusted by the SS who took charge of other prisoners for the Nazis in order to gain personal power or advantage from his or her captors. I think it is far more fitting.

“And this is the jackass who was running the RNC? No matter the GOP is dying! “

Last year. They’ve replaced him with another ‘affirmative action’ RINO...Steele.

When will these ‘gop’ leaders admit they don’t agree with the RNC platform!

“We oppose amnesty.

The rule of law suffers if government policies encourage or reward illegal activity. The American people’s rejection of en masse legalizations is especially appropriate given the federal government’s past failures to enforce the law.”[snip]

“I’ve just about heard enough to change my registration.”

That’s the only way we will ever get them to pay attention!
