What ever happened to proper AMERICAN commander’s titles? I’ll be damned if I cotton to Russian terminology. Time to run the communists that we DO have out of the country.

What’s he gonna fight with? Spitballs? Zell Miller

Here’s a thought: If the problems on the border were with Canada instead of Mexico, does anyone doubt that there would be an impenetrable border put up quickly? But see the problem is with the backward Southern states, so nothing gets done.

Maybe 0bama can appoint me the Czar Czar and I can collect a fat paycheck for overseeing all the Czars in his administration.

We can have a weekly Czar poker game and do a Czar bake sale fundraiser a couple times a year and even have Czar ski weekends in various locations around the country during the winter months.

Who do I contact about getting this implemented? It’ll be another job to add to the “Created or saved” list.

It would be interesting to know the most Czars that existed in Russia at any given time.

My guess is that we outnumber them considerably.

How Russian of them to think of positions outside of public voting scrutiny.

“While drawing a line in the sand, Bersin did not specify what the US response might be”

Line in the sand - gimme a frickin’ break! It’s another “protest in the strongest terms” that we’ve heard too often. I think these people really don’t see how stupid and weak they seem to bullies...

"US border czar Alan Bersin warned Mexico's brutal drug cartels Tuesday that threats to target law enforcement officials on both sides of the border would be met by a "significant response."

I imagine the Caucasian ones are pretty much fair game.

that would be considered a major departure from existing practice of the cartels,

Let me get this straight..."it is okay to shoot up civilians, don't worry, we'll just make a little noise in the press and drop it.

But, hoo-boy howdy, don' you be messin' with our LEOs 'cause then we're gonna open up a big ol' can o' Whoop A$$ on you!"

Did I get that about right?

If we have to warn them, why not go after them. What’s Mexico going to do, shoot bottle rockets at us?

Cards Help Cartels Bring $ Across Border
Smugglers Can Put Up To $1M On Stored Value Cards, Goddard Says

PHOENIX — Drug smugglers have found a new tool that lets them carry large amounts of money over the border without violating any laws, according to Arizona Attorney General Terry Goddard.Normally, it’s illegal for anyone to send more than $10,000 out of the country at any one time; however, smugglers can put money on a stored value card, which looks like a credit card, carry it across the border and use the card to retrieve the cash.Though the cards have legitimate uses, critics argue they’re being abused by drug cartels.”These are gift cards on steroids,” Goddard said. “These are cards capable of having up to $1 million (on them).”There are no federal laws that prohibit carrying these cards across the border.”You can put the money (on the card) in one country, and then just carry this card across to another,” Goddard said. “It’s something that I’ve been pleading with the federal authorities that they’ve got to close that loophole.”Usually offshore banks issue these cards, but retail gift cards and phone cards are often used for the same purpose.Goddard said he plans to speak with other lawmakers and law enforcement officials at an anti-money-laundering conference about ways to make it more difficult for smugglers to take their profits across the border.

If the cartels attacked a few ACORN offices we would see an immediate military response.
