Has there ever been a more “manufactured” crisis with an even more manufactured resolution simply to give a despot dictator what he wants (not what is countrymen need, but what he wants.)

... who said Gore sought diplomatic backing from the Obama administration in a private meeting on May 11. I'll say this for him, at least he followed proper procedure, protocol, and went to the White House FIRST, unlike Carter, Richardson, Jesse Jackson in recent years who have gone willy-nilly to deal without prior Administration sanction/approval. When one is no longer in office (or Jackson, never held public office), he does not possess any authority whatever -- having former presidents, MOC's, ambassadors, etal, who are no more than the average citizen by virtue of their no longer holding office, doing these things without the approval of the people who are charged with the Foreign Policy mandate confuses things in the end.
(I can't believe I had something good to say about Gore, but you know, that thing about broken clocks and all).

I suspect that you are correct.

Weren’t those reporters working for Gore or a company owned by him?
If he wants to impress me, he should offer himself as a trade for those journalists!

I suspect al called Hillary and asked to go and made it clear he didn’t want permission so the govt is his excuse.
He is a big bag of hot air.

The Algore did slip around his old man to get sent to the Nam. The Army then moved Heaven and Earth to keep him from getting involved in combat and eventually sent him back early.
I really don't doubt that he's crazy enough to go to North Korea and challenge those pukes directly.
On the other hand those pukes in Korea simply don't care. They are all mind-numbed robot-like knee-jerk Commie idiots.
These are not the first people the NK Regime has kidnapped ~ it's a regular business practice with them.
Eventually someone will get across to the Algore that the Leftwingtards in this world are NOT HIS FRIENDS.

So on top of everything else, Gore is a graduate of Jimmy Carter U. Both think their negotiating skills are second to none. Both couldn’t be more wrong.
