The Dallas Morning News ^ | June 8, 2009 | SCOTT FARWELL

Cindy Sheehan, the antiwar activist whose son was killed in the war on Iraq, plans to lead a protest this afternoon near former President George W. Bush’s Preston Hollow home.

snip

But this afternoon, less than an hour before the protest was to begin, only seven people had shown up to take part. They outnumbered -- barely -- the reporters sent out to cover the event. Sheehan was not yet present.

This woman IS aware Bush is no longer President, and therefore protesting him is an exercise in futility and insanity, correct?

Oh, that’s right—futility and insanity are liberal family values.

She so yesterday, thrown under the bus after she was used. Nobody like a mother using her brave sons grave as a soapbox to promote their views.

Well, she said we have to hold Bush accountable, even though he’s now out of office.

She’s not all there in the head. She went to New Orleans after Katrina, and complained that the military was there. She said she was afraid she would get shot. The liberals at the time wanted Bush to send aid to New Orleans. But, the lunatic fringe of liberals, such as Cindy Sheehan, feared our own military relief men more than the youth gangs which plague New Orleans.

...only seven people had shown up to take part.

I'm surprised that many people showed up.

Seriously, how pathetic do you have to be to protest a former POTUS with Cindy Sheehan.

What possibly could you accomplish?

The RCP calls for the armed overthrow of the U.S. government...

From the website of the Revolutionary Communist Party (revcom.us or rwor.org) :

"Create Public Opinion, Seize Power: We are preparing minds and organizing forces for the time when there is a major crack in the system, whenever it comes and wherever it comes from: an opening that makes it possible to bring the future Revolutionary Army of the Proletariat (R.A.P.) into the field and wage a revolutionary armed struggle that actually has a chance of winning.

And we have said that building our party itself is the most important part of organizing forces for revolution. This is true now, and it is true looking forward to the creation of that future R.A.P. and the waging of that armed struggle.":
