You're probably right!

If so, then fine.

LET IT BEGIN HERE AND LET IT BEGIN NOW!

There are still some folks here in Indiana who are ready to fight for what's left of the Republic.

So..... WHO WILL STAND WITH US?!

It really isn’t conservative to look out after the little people’s pension money. It should be a bipartisan issue of law.

I think the USSC wants to keep its power and realizes what a usurper Obama is.

There is this pesky precedence of over 200 years of business and contract law.

AP reports (hopes) stay is temporary. However, it should stand if brought before all justices.

Plea was well written by IN Attorney General. She could not ignore the request. They could not ignore that Treasury was trying to ignore existing Bankruptcy code.

The question I have is will the justices take up the issue regarding Treasury purchasing assets from entities other than financial institutions?

Wow, Ginsburg bitched slapped Barry.

I wonder what Zero is going to do if SCOTUS rules against him. He’s not use to being told no.

Can we make Ruthie an honorary FReeper, at least for a day?

“Constitution” and “rule of law” are concepts that still mean something in America!

Dunno what is next, but the republic will survive this day. For a while there, it looked like it would not.

It really isn’t conservative to look out after the little people’s pension money. It should be a bipartisan issue of law.

Obama's view happens to be better than "bi-partisan", it's "beyond politics". What dictators call, "the will of the people", known only by the great Obama and his unique perspective as a black organizer. He will heal our souls, you'll see. But first he must fix that pesky problem: SCOTUS. It's all written in "dictators for dummies".

It’s one small battle in the war.

Obama has been issuing statements as if he is the CEO of Congress. I am surprised Congress has allowed or tolerated it. I am not surprised at Ginsburg’s ruling. I thought arguing SCOTUS had no jurisdiction was a mistake. After further review, they just might side with odumba.

Time will tell if this was just a remind-him-he-is-not-the-boss of-us smackdown.

I might add one important point: my opinion is based on absolutely no knowledge of the law. :-)

So odious that even Ruth Buzzi Ginsburg couldn’t hide the stench. (with apologies to Ms. Buzzi).

AND the great attorney for the secured creditors, Tom Lauria, describing the White House threats.

mentioned by Mark Levin who plays Lauria's interview.

Interesting sidenote:

Pierella Weinberg, a secured creditor, is allegedly the firm that backpeddled from discussing the threats they were getting from the White House to take this deal or else. I'm assuming they were 'persuaded' into that move by their former employee, RAHM EMANUEL, who worked for them for about 2-1/2 years and made over $16M.

“A top Obama administration lawyer urged the Supreme Court on Monday to allow Chrysler’s bankruptcy to proceed, noting that the needs of the economy outweigh the needs of the deal’s detractors.”

Translated: The needs of the collective outweigh individual rights and the rule of law.

I wouldn’t read too much into this

Don't read too little into this. Nearly all of requests for certs are denied outright. Not only are there constitutional issues of first impression here, but the bankruptcy court put existing law on its head with its ruling. This the perfect type of case for the Supreme Court to clarify the law.

I think the odds are better than 50-50 the court will take this case.
