I knew my fellow Americans had taste after all.....

According to a story on Drudge, Conan's 'TONIGHT' ratings drop with every episode...

There is hope for our country....

...... Conan O'Brien's first week behind NBC's "Tonight Show" desk resulted in a strong overall ratings performance that dominated competitors and left critics generally pleased.

But after debuting to record-setting numbers Monday, “The Tonight Show” audience has shrunk with each successive episode......

I think I will occasionally check this NBC time slot for a test pattern within the next 6 months or so, LOL - don’t know if there is a Vegas bet on this yet or not...his hair alone is enough to make me throw up. He is like watching a 10-year-old who’s OD’d on Red Bull.

esp. Letterman. Man, I could not stand the condescending way he treated every day folks who would be guests on his show. Just made me mad.

Jack Paar to Johnny then......not funny...

Might have been just the fact that watching any late night TV was a big treat for me but I loved Jack Paar when I was a kid. Johnny was good too but I was in college by then. After that, I haven't bothered.

Maybe all he needs are a few tramp stamps, some scrap metal protruding from his navel, and to change his name to Megan. He’d certainly find a home at the Freep.

No, it goes something like this:

“He is more worser than Letterman, yet — already.”

I watched half of this video clip of Craig Ferguson, until he was slobbering all of 0booooombashit for his romantic date with man-wife beast Michelle and then ripping the Repubs for criticizing the $350,000 date night......I couldn't make it to the Biden joke. Actually Craig Ferguson's humor is every bit as stupid & boring as Conan's stupid, boring humor. In fact I would rate Craig Ferguson at the bottom of the heap. Stupid ass, boring humor. And people actually pay or stand in lines to watch this crap!!!

Ever since Letterman went obscene libtard political with the 2004 election, he is no longer funny. Otherwise, I would have rated him as passable funny.

Fortunately I don't watch any of these liberal dumb asses anymore and don't miss them a bit. Heck, I just cancelled my Direct TV and don't miss tha either. If there's a war on someplace, thankfully I have FR to keep me informed!!! LOL

sorry.

but i’m of the opinion that the GOP takes a pretty stupid position to criticize going on a date to NY... and, as president of the US, could it have been done any cheaper?

craig’s funny for criticizing the date “because it makes the rest of us husbands look bad” taking his wife to the theater.

oh.. and the joe biden joke was...

the president saved taxpayer dollars by having his oldest daughter babysit her younger sister... and the younger sister babysat joe biden.

Why does anyone want Conan to fail? Seems to me he is pretty funny.

The zenith of Conan O'Brien's creative career was writing for The Simpsons. And his efforts there were passing fair; some of it was actually solid, cutting-edge humor. It was during that period that The Simpsons obtained its well-deserved reputation for having some of the best comedy writing on TV.

But that was a while back, and it's probably fair to say that it's all pretty much downhill from here for Conan. On the rare occasions I have had to watch Conan working in the late-night talk show format, I've gotten the impression he's pretty far out of his element. His best efforts occurred well in the past, behind the camera, and whatever he now does in front of the camera is occasionally painful to watch.

You got that right! Most comedies seem to be aimed at 3 yr olds nowadays.

What, no Obama jokes? I'm shocked.

I9 guess Conan feels the same way about Obama that Letterman's head writer does. Can't joke about Obama because “he is way too competent”.

I also enjoy Conan. He used to be much more self-deprecating, which I find humorous.

I have caught Craig Ferguson a few times. He’s freakin’ hilarious.

I thought so, too. Then he started doing gay jokes, night after night after night after night. I finally got sick of them, and stopped watching him. A gay joke once in a while is OK (I guess), but not on an everyday basis. When somebody does a political hot-button issue as a joke night after night, there's an "agenda" there.

Ferguson at least has a good sense of humor and he’s not stuck in toilet-bowl joke mode.

Conan was one of the worst choices they could have made.

In the midst of 9.4% unemployment, hundreds of thousands of jobs leaving or disappearing, socialist bailouts of the banking, mortgage & auto industries, then yes, he could've and should've done something WAY cheaper.

GW Bush stopped golfing during the last 6 years so as to not send the impression that he was out playing while soldiers are dying. Can you imagine the feigned volcanic outrage if GW Bush had done anything even remotely like this??? 0booooombashit has yet to cut back on anything for any reason.

However cheap is one thing that 0boooooombashit doesn't have in his vocabulary when it comes to embellishing his messianic & kingly aura, starting with Greek temple fasade in Denver, to his $170M coronation, to his flyby's over NYC, etc, etc....

He should have sat his @ss at home and watched a movie on his private theatre. I won't cut that narcissistic decadent hedonistic commie pig an ounce of slack!!!
