FORT WORTH, TexasAuthorities say they are investigating a natural gas explosion at the Fort Worth, Texas, home of megachurch pastor T.D. Jakes.
Fort Worth fire spokesman Lt. Kent Worley says the blast Sunday in the sunroom of the home appears to have been an accident. Authorities say no one was injured and there was no fire. The sunroom was heavily damaged. Worley says the room had a gas-fed pool heater and a large gas-fed barbecue grill.

I’ve seen this guy on TV a couple of times. I kinda liked him. Glad no one was hurt.
Same Rev. that mayor Kilpatrick went to go get an endorsement from and got the cold shoulder?
Another reason why we should use charcoal grills. :)
Didn’t he lead a prayer vigil for the election of The One?
Jakes is full of hot air so I should be careful just reading the headline.
He is a typical Pimp daddy preacher
Yup. I recall seeing him have one of his female congregants crawl accross the stage. It was a bit perverse.
crawling for Jesus
What’s a megachurch? How cute.
More like crawling for the pleasure of Jakes.
A megachurch is a church having around 2,000 or more attendants for a typical weekly service.[1][2] The Hartford Institute’s database lists more than 1,300 such Protestant churches in the United States. According to this data, about 50 churches on the list have attendance ranging from 10,000 to 47,000.[3] Additionally, while some 3,000 individual Roman Catholic parishes (churches) have 2,000 or more attendants for a typical weekly service, these churches are not seen as part of the megachurch movement.[4]
Globally, these large congregations are a significant development in Protestant Christianity. While generally associated with the United States, the phenomenon has spread worldwide; as of 2007, five of the ten largest Protestant churches are in South Korea.[5] Most megachurches tend to be evangelical or Pentecostal, and are often semi-independent from the major Christian denominations.
Send mo money.
My priest doesn’t have a sunroom, much less a pool. Actually, probably not too many parishioners have one of those either. Megachurch, eh? Different strokes I guess.
He sure did support 0bama. I am done with him.
He teaches the word-faith righteousness-by-wealth heresy, and also there is evidence that he is a modalist.
He also smooched Gore’s butt.
Absolutely NO man of THE God would have supported obama.
Whoa! That's a sight I sure wouldn't wanna see.
Jakes was under scrutiny from a Congressional Committee for his lavish lifestyle (tax exempt status).
