Global warming alarmists are fond of invoking the authority of experts against the skepticism of supposedly amateur detractors -- a.k.a. "deniers." So when one of those experts says that a recent report on the effects of climate change is "worse than fiction, it is a lie," the alarmists should, well, be alarmed.
The latest contretemps pits former U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan, now president of the Geneva-based Global Humanitarian Forum, against Roger Pielke, Jr., an expert in disaster trends at the University of Colorado. Mr. Annan's outfit issued a lengthy report late last month warning that climate change-induced disasters, such as droughts and floods, kill 315,000 each year and cost $125 billion, numbers it says will rise to 500,000 dead and $340 billion by 2030. Adding to the gloom, Mr. Annan predicts "mass starvation, mass migration, and mass sickness" unless countries agree to "the most ambitious international agreement ever negotiated" at a meeting this year in Copenhagen.

Climate-change-induced-disasters and fairy dust are both very difficult to locate.
These clowns will be screaming about Global Warming until Glaciers cover all of North America. It’s a religion to these fools and no amount of evidence will persuade them they are wrong.

Well if you factor in the potential for population growth by 2030 you would probably get a negative factor for deaths associated with climate change - so hear we have the proof Climate Change SAVES LIVES.

As you read this keep in mind that 3 to 5 million children (mostly dark skinned) die a painful, horrible death from malaria each year because we do not use DDT to spray mosquitoes.

Just recently, I saw a report published in Science magazine (or one of its on-line journals) about the gradual and steady loss of CO2 that has been going on for hundreds of millions of years. The authors of the report were estimating that, at current loss rates, there will only be enough CO2 to support life on Earth for another 100 million to 1 billion years.
The short conclusion here is that the global warming alarmists want to bring about a quicker end to life on earth by removing all CO2 from the air.

When we retake the United States from the Marxists, item No. 11 should be arresting every freak at the UN and charging them with sedition against the United States. Then call in the 1st Marine Division to shell the UN building, and send the traitor Rockefeller family the bill to clean it up, after we seize every penny they own.
Thank you for pointing out that the climate change agent is the sun. I wrote to my congressional representatives and asked them how their placing fines on United States manufacturing was going to change the activity of the sun. Am waiting for their answers.

I got his new position because of his experience shaking down America and the rest of the civilized world to fund the little jerks like him who come from third world crap holes but want to pass themselves off as “royalty.”
He got his Masters from Yale of Harvard or some other Poison ivy school in the mid 70s. That was the height of the “send a negro an undeserved degree and we’ll all feel better” era.
