INDIANAPOLIS I have learned that the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals (Court) extended the stay previously placed on the sale of Chrysler, LLC assets, which gives the Indiana State Police Pension Fund, the Indiana Teachers Retirement Fund, and the Major Moves Construction Fund until 4:00 p.m. on Monday, June 8, 2009, to petition a continuing stay by the United States Supreme Court.

Sounds like it’s time for the Indiana National Guard to start commandeering assets...
Is it needed for the USSC to generate a continued stay in order to stymie the Obama monkey business, or would it suffice for the 2nd to do so while the USSC chooses to stay out of it?
Boy this is a tough one....
Indiana Gov’t fascist employees’ and progagandists’ pensions vs. Obama’s fascist policies....
I love it when liberal fascists run into liberal fascists. If there’s any hope of all of this not working, this is the way it will fail. It won’t be by Obama supporters ‘waking up’ - their eyes are wide open - they know (and knew) he lied to get elected and they want what he has to offer.
No amount of ‘education’ of the Constitution or the ‘way things used to be’ isn’t going to help. They don’t _want_ ‘the way things used to be’.
No amount of handwringin and of letting everyone know what is happening through talk radio or Fox news by the ‘Dagny’s’ is going to help. All they are really doing is ‘running commentary’ at this point - and again, Obama’s supporters already know and those that don’t support him also know. No one needs “awakened from their slumbers”. Yeah there are a few in the middle that don’t get it but they are on ‘their’ side with their hand out, anyway.
It wouldn’t matter if there were a ‘Ronald Reagan’ on the near horizon - ACORN can handle that now and will be even better prepared in 2012, and again, Ronald Reagan is soooooo ‘the way things used to be’ and the majority don’t want that anymore. The public schools have done their ‘job’ well.
When their programs fail, the State controlled media will not report it and when it becomes most obvious to everyone, they will go to their ‘default’ excuses - (think Milton Friedman): the wrong people were running it and/or more money was needed for the program to work properly. And the media will also back that up. Only we will understand that isn’t the case.
The 40% of potential voters last fall who didn't choose any candidate for president are an awfully big "no one."
Fun to sit back and watch the fight, they deserve each other.
There is no fair comparison. Indiana is playing strictly by the book by virtually any light reflected from the Obama contingent. The pension funds served all Indiana’s officials and “civil servants” whether they were fair or foul. Indiana doesn’t really have a hope of getting a lot of money out of this in any event, because Chrysler has withered away so. But I think Indiana sees that if, like the Dutch boy, it does not stick the finger in the dike, it will die in the ensuing flood with everyone else. Someone needs to tell Obama “when.”
The UAW kicked in far more money to the 0bama campaign fund than did the Indiana's Officials and "Civil Servants" Pension Funds.
0bama is simply paying off his campaign debts.
LOL, as you write I think of my sister-in-law a retired uber liberal teacher and her sister who's worse wondering how they are dealing with this.
I was wondering what percentage of the retirement funds portfolio the GM piece is, and how it ultimately will impact their retirement benefits?
If there is no pain and the government steps in to make them whole you and I will be picking up the difference.
As I recall, Indiana’s teacher pension fund was prohibitted from investing in the stock market until recently. When it came up on a ballot initiative, I asked my sister and her husband (both teachers) whether approving it would involve the government making it whole if they lost a bunch of money. The answer was no (although I read the initiative to confirm). It’ll be interesting to see if it sticks, as the teacher’s union is the most powerful lobby in Indiana...

The answer is they don"t. We are an oligarchy and have been for some time. I would argue back to LBJs period. It used to be subtle with the SCOTUS dictating how we lived, implementing the policies of marxists slowly so as not to disturb us too much. Now the marxists are brazen. I suspect P. BO will become president for life. I believe there will never be another accurate, ethical, and honest national election in our nation, absent an uprising and honestly I don't see that occurring. We may have a chance in 2010 but it is a race between getting to the election before the marxists inculcate wide spread voter fraud in perpetuity.
Good find - if you see further updates, please let me know.

Most of them are more awake than the ones that vote. The rest are comatose.
Atlas Shrugged... late in the book.
It would be hard to blame this one on Bush, but they'll find a way.
I get regular articles from Mr. Mourdock, who is a friend.
