Quix, the comments emanating from the Long Beach event, is something that doesn’t provide enough info for me to realistically ponder. As for Reagan and the U.S.S.R., I’m not quite sure why you believe that to only be a dance.

Nations today that were part of the U.S.S.R. do have autonomy. They are determining their own affairs.

I don’t agree with Putin quite often. Still, I believe Russia is better off today than it was. Is it still a problem state, yes I believe it to be. And it remains to be seen, what type of trouble it will render in the future.

My main concern with Russia, is that our presidents seem to ignore it. For heaven’s sake, we should have pulled it in closer. We should have fostered as tight a friendship as we could have.

I don’t mean to the point of blindly handing them the keys to hurt us, but we could have been a lot more cordial.

When that school was attacked by terrorists and all the children were killed, our leadership really screwed up by not unifying with Russia to mourn. If I had been president, I would have gone there to show our unified sorrow with the Russian people.

I’m going to read your post a lot closer in later today. I’ll have some comments to make.

Given the comments of various defectors . . . and the oligarchy’s reach, nature, methods etc.

I’ve long been more than a little suspicious of the “collapse” of the Soviet Union.

The oligarchy has long been working on melding Soviet Communism and tyrannical capitalism.

I think Reagan played the part well that he was given by the oligarchy and was as patriotic as he could get away with.

From this perspective . . . in time . . . There’s simply absolutely no way, imho, anyone could occupy the White House, at least the last 100 years or so, without being chosen by the oligarchy and given their marching orders by the oligarchy . . . whether in broad strokes or day by day.

Have you read the quotes in my ref’d tagline post?

Yes, Russia is better off.

Christianity has had a resurgence.

Personally, I think God used the oligarchy’s schemes against them in terms of Christianity.

I think they minimize it’s impact to some degree.

It’s a complex world with lots of mirrors and altered states and realities.

It may well be, for example, that there was enough complicity in terms of Reagan’s at least Admin in Calif in whatever skulduggery was going on in Long Beach for the oligarchy to absolutely insist that he run for President . . . with them insuring he’d win . . . to facilitate the Soviet Union ‘breakup’ . . . something a liberal President could not have gotten away with doing . . . like Nixon was chosen to open up China.

God only knows all the details of such things.

imho, of course.
