Yes, Russia is better off.
Christianity has had a resurgence.
Personally, I think God used the oligarchy’s schemes against them in terms of Christianity.
I think they minimize it’s impact to some degree.
It’s a complex world with lots of mirrors and altered states and realities.
It may well be, for example, that there was enough complicity in terms of Reagan’s at least Admin in Calif in whatever skulduggery was going on in Long Beach for the oligarchy to absolutely insist that he run for President . . . with them insuring he’d win . . . to facilitate the Soviet Union ‘breakup’ . . . something a liberal President could not have gotten away with doing . . . like Nixon was chosen to open up China.
God only knows all the details of such things.
