I think it was Golda Maier who said there will be no mideast peace until Muslims love their children more than they hate Jews. That’s as true today as it was in 1960.
0 says “Islam paved the way for Europe’s Renaissance and Enlightenment”. Is he serious? It was Christianity which paved the way. And this Renaissance did not extend beyond Europe because of Islam.
From legitimizing Al Qaeda's claim that we torture, to giving Iran the nod to
pursue its nuclear ambitions, he's provided his "loyal opposition" plenty of
soundbites.
I suspect that we will see A LOT of those soundbites as these very issues unwind

Let me expand on my reasons for the post #303.
For eight years the pop media did all they could to keep President Bush’s official speeches hidden from news consumers. However, many of us on Free Republic were eager and able to follow his travels and speeches about US relations with the rest of the world, with enemies and with friends of the USA, etc.
The paragraphs that were written for Obama to read today that I cut&pasted were practically plagiarized from speeches of GWB. Our gatekeeper media never gave Bush a minute of credit for his statements, yet they will praise Obama for practically channeling Bush.
Al Queda is more than happy to let Obozo weaken us even further, then attack us when they can.
The ironic thing is that, just like when other Muslims have been killed by Al Queda in the past, it's often for not being Muslim enough.
In the end, Obama and his ilk will be as vulnerable as those who are not Muslim at all.
