This is very troubling considering the Muslim Brotherhoods stated mission of overtaking America from within.

This is what the MB did in the UK and Europe. It is fiannced by the Saudis and Obama has close links with MB.

I’m not sure if people realize that the Muslim Brotherhood is what spawned Osama bin Laden. I want people to realize that the Muslim Brotherhood is not confined to Egypt and Palestine either. There are branches in all parts of the Middle East, Africa (including the Sudan, and Somalia), Indonesia, even the US has groups with ties to the MB.

The Muslim Brotherhood preaches Jihad as OBLIGATORY, and claims that hatred of all non-Muslims will bring them closer to Allah.

It should also be noted that in all parts of the world the Muslim Brotherhood have “spawned” not only Al-Qaeda, and Hamas, but there are numerous jihadist groups that have “splintered” from the Muslim Brotherhood, but the jihadist groups themselves still claim they are part of the whole.

Simply INVITING members of the MB is a HUGE statement, especially after his words in France yesterday saying that the US is a Muslim nation... Expect his speech to include plenty of code-speak, and expect his press secretary Gibbels to say he “mis-spoke”.

I really wish I knew Arabic so that we could see how the White House chooses to translate it, vs. what we are hearing in English.

Jveritas & FARS, I think both of you are fluent in Arabic, right? I think it would be a good idea if either one of you, or perhaps another FReeper who has time, and knowledge of Arabic should examine the speech as translated into Arabic, and of course, sharing your insight as to how it is “heard” in the Muslim world would be very valuable I think as well... I just immediately thought of the both of you as people who may be interested in doing this, and have the requisite skills, IIRC! :)

A sign that the Obama administration is willing to publicly challenge Egypt's commitment to parliamentary democracy: various Middle Eastern news sources report that the administration insisted that at least 10 members of the Muslim Brotherhood, the country's chief opposition party, be allowed to attend his speech in Cairo on Thursday. The brotherhood is a Salafist/ Islamist party with branches in many countries, and it does not have a reputation for liberalism and has supported violent campaigns against Israel (and Egypt's own government).

Middle East and terrorism, occasional political and Jewish issues Ping List. High Volume

If you’d like to be on or off, please FR mail me.

..................

I will note on both threads that it was a grave error for the US to encourage the participation of the MB in the Egyptian electoral (cough) process. As it was Hamas. And Hizbollah. And no, I'm not beating up on GWB for this, his heart was in the right place, but his successor is building on this "policy" legacy. Fortunately Egypt will flip Obama the bird on this, as they did GWB/Condi.

Well, as President Barry said it himself last week at a L.A. fundraiser: You ain't see nothing yet.

My only thought is often repeated phase here at FR: We are so screwed.

I wonder what the source is to support that the Obama admin has demanded the Brotherhood representation

I realize Obama is "one of them", but I find it hard to buy that the other country would accept such a demand

Well hells bells. We have at this web site seen with our own eyes those pictures of zero and Sayyid Qutb sitting at a luncheon. Zero is one hell of a dangerous man. And the American idiots voted him in.

We are pretty much over it. The writing is on the wall, most Americans are going to accept whatever comes. Sad but true. Russia, Cuba, Venezuela, Canada, China, Europe all see it and are amazed how easily it is being done.
There is no fight left in most Americans. The news of the day for the majority of Americans is who won American Idol. Even here on FR the AI threads are pages long. Time to probably get out, live the rest of your life in a peaceful country. You will always miss America but do you honestly want to live under a dictatorship? Can you live that way after living free all of your life? Do you want your children to live that way?
Make alternative plans. Don't wait until it's too late. At least have an out.
They waited generations to have this chance. Once they had the minds of the youth, it was time for the installation of the regime. They cheated, they lied, they are in there and they will do anything to achieve their goals. The past couple of days have convinced us that we will probably do what we never thought we would ever do... leave the country we love and move permanently to another country. vacation home will become permanent home. :(
The end of my depressing post.
