PHILADELPHIA — It's an old lie, claiming that The Black Man Did It.
But it was trotted out again last week when a white mother from suburban Philadelphia said two black men snatched her and her 9-year-old daughter from their SUV and abducted them in the trunk of a black Cadillac.
Blacks across the country were outraged after Bonnie Sweeten was found in a luxury hotel at Disney World. Authorities quickly unraveled the hoax, but not before an Amber Alert, frantic searches and national news coverage that played into images of marauding black men.
Racial boundaries are slowly dissolving in America, with President Barack Obama the most obvious example. Yet Sweeten's story, plus the killing of a black New York City cop by a white officer days later, was a reminder that old ideas remain burned into many minds both black and white.
Sweeten's story has provoked an outpouring of discussion among blacks, everywhere from doctor's offices to blogs. Syndicated radio host Warren Ballentine said his listeners are "furious, and they're disgusted. ... On a scale of one to 10, it's a 15."
"Their hope was that by Obama becoming president, the rest of America would take a look at black Americans and look at us for who we are and not what a stereotype is," he said.

What are the bets that the media coverage will be greater, and more outraged, at this story than at the one where a Black Muslim DID do it in Little Rock?
How about the BLACK MUSLIM who murdered an army recruiter at Little Rock? There’s no outrage from the Media class who want the Jihad against America to be successful.
Well I asked Tawana and Crystal and they were both outraged, so I guess this article is right.
What this white woman did was wrong but at least she didn't point the finger at any particular black man like was done by Tawana Bradley and Crystal Magnum.
As soon as I heard her story, I told my wife, “This woman is full of it” .
Police can only go on what victims or witnesses tell them, at first, so if the story was “black men did it”, then that’s what they would start out investigating. But it’s to the credit of the police that they ALSO explored other possibilities.

And, stereotype or not, it happens to be true that the vast majority of carjackings are committed by blacks, as are most home invasions. That statement is borne out by data collected by the U.S. Dept. of Justice.
The only thing remarkable about the DoJ information is that it exists at all. I’m amazed that DoJ is still allowed to gather and publish such data, and would not be surprised if AG Holder shuts it down.
Send this woman to prison and let the Sisters straighten her out.

Crystal Gail Mangum, a black stripper, "escort" and student at North Carolina Central University, falsely accused white Duke University lacrosse team members of raping her at a party in 2006. Many involved in the case, including prosecutor Mike Nifong, prominent liberals and the MSM called the alleged assault a hate crime, and the innocent white students suffered vile media slanders and official rebukes until the racist perfidy of Nifong and Mangum was finally proven.
Most home invasions are committed by blacks? That can’t be. I mean, look at all of those Brinks Home Security commercials. The perps are always white guys. /sarc

She did not come to my mind in my list for she was white. But yes, she did also make similarly racially divisive accusation, designed to provoke the fires of racial hatred and this provide cover for the false accuser’s own evil.
Young black males between the approximate ages of 12 and 40, who are about 6 percent of the population, commit more than 50% of the murders. It would be better for all, most of all for African-Americans, if more people were outraged about that statistic.

Because of those commercials, we canceled Brinks after 9 years and had ADT come in and install their system. We told Brinks WHY we were doing it, too.
The crime this woman committed wasn't that she accused a non existent black man but that she filed a false report of a kidnapping.
