Tawana Brawley a black teenage woman from Wappingers Falls, NY accused six white men of rape in 1987. The case became a national media circus, and black leaders like Al Sharpton exploited the accusation to stir up hatred against whites. A grand jury concluded that she fabricated the whole accusation. Sharpton was found civilly liable for his false accusations.

Crystal Gail Mangum, a black stripper, "escort" and student at North Carolina Central University, falsely accused white Duke University lacrosse team members of raping her at a party in 2006. Many involved in the case, including prosecutor Mike Nifong, prominent liberals and the MSM called the alleged assault a hate crime, and the innocent white students suffered vile media slanders and official rebukes until the racist perfidy of Nifong and Mangum was finally proven.
