Did you see the Greta interview last night on FNC? Cheney is for the states giving out marriage licenses to same sex, like in CA. He is for same sex marriage. He could say no comment or refuse to take a position, but he is taking one.

Same sex marriage is not about liberty and Cheney is no where close to a libertarian, even at the federal level.
