On the day that Barack Obama was inaugurated in January I urged people to remain calm and sober.
I brought up topics like drug addiction (including prescription drugs), alcohol addiction, addiction to pornography etc.
My message was simple. Clean up your act and be sober in dealing with the Obama regieme.
Now the murder of abortion butcher George Tiller stares us in the face.
Killer Tiller dehumanized unborn infants through his wanton destruction of thousands.
But there are other ways to "dehumanize" people and make them objects.
I really want to know more about the man who thought Tiller's evil justified his death.
Scott Roeder felt strongly about the evil of abortion and the evil of Tiller, but what else was going on in his heart. I want to know about any porn on his computer and such.
Roeder had an ex-wife and I wonder what the full details were of the events that surrounded the breakup of the marriage.
Even Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., who stood against the evil of segregation with "non-violent" and "civil" disobeying of the law, is now known as a serial adulterer who had sexual liasions with many women other than his wife.
Even Martin Luther King dehumanized women and used them as tools for sexual pleasure.
Of course, Obama is "outraged" by this killing and this gives an excuse for federal forces to protect abortionists. Where is his outrage for the mass murder of the innocent unborn?
But we must rise to a higher moral standard in opposing the evil of Obama and the evil of abortion.
That is my challenge to all. A challenge to look yourselves in the mirror and change your lives. Only you can see the ugly side of yourselves and seek help to break the cycle of addiction in your lives.
I'm not convinced that this violent act was the right way to deal with Tiller.
I'm more convinced that something evil was going on in Scott Roeder's heart and I don't want that evil, addictive and twisted thinking going on in anyone's heart.
God Bless all and pray the Lord's Prayer with passion and remember those who are hurt by abortion and the murder of George Tiller. Pray that all who are hurt will turn away from bitterness and evil thoughts.
And above all turn away from addiction to anything and everything.
Wow,
Not only does Roeder not get the assumption of innocence that is sacrosanct in our society, but on top of that, you want to attribute all sorts of sexual deviancy to him. You need to check yourself first before the societal rectal exam begins on Scott Roeder.
I really think you need to mind your own business.
what the.....?
How about rejoicing for all the children this "Doctor" will not murder now?
Look for the silver lining.
This guy is already being used by the Left as an evil, right wing, Bible clutching, gun toting, Conservative poster boy.
You sure you want to add wood to that fire?
This event is evil murdering evil.
This is absolutely right and true. We all need to clean up our lives. It is because we didn’t that judgement has fallen on our nation. The one thing Christians are most in need of is repentance. If we are to deal with the adversity on the horizon, it had better be by the power of God, not our puny selves.
Our power is of God, not of us, and the righteous and holy God cannot have fellowship with a filthy sinner. You can’t live the Christian life, either - it’s not possible. The O.T. Law proved that. God has to live it through you, and to do that we need to put aside the sin that does so easily beset us and embrace the Good News and it’s promises and gifts with joy and thanksgiving.
LOL
I tried to get upset about this.
I failed.
My bad, I guess.
People are in rebellion like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson.
They have plenty of questions around them.
Shaprton’s finances, his Tawana Brawley hoax and Jackson’s “love child.”
Roeder is now in the spotlight and will get demonized by the media.
But will they look at it the way I do.
No they won’t.
But I’m convinced that something evil goes on in the hearts of those who murder that goes beyond the act itself.
Those who want to act violently and or rebel against authority in haste do so because they are already rebelling by being slaves to alcohol, drugs, sex etc.
Including posting vanities on FR?
Amen.
Sure. The thought is the father to the deed and where do thoughts come from?
I think so much that has happened up to this point has come up short for me and millions of others.
The various evangelical and fundamentalist activities out there have all fell short of total life changing acts because they just looked at things like abortion, homosexuality and racism, among other things.
The roots of our sin as in those Ten Commandments were not touched. The Sermon On The Mount kind of treatment is needed in my life and all lives.
The time for fancy meetings and shows of repentance are over as the world sinks further into the abyss.
When we cut through the crap its about our deepest and darkest wrongs and our need to admit them to others and change.
Alcoholics Anonymous didn’t start for nothing.
We need to follow God and we need to practically act to change our lives and how we deal with other people.
I’m challenging people to think deep but I’m not applauding abortion, Tiller or Obama.
I want to take on evil in this country from a position of moral strength and not weakness.
I don’t know how bad it will get and what we will have to do and suffer through, but I’m not going to be addicted to pain killers like my namesake (El Rushbo himself) was in the process.
Heck, I’m still haunted by that jerk who told the media about the Viagra in Limbaugh’s luggage when he returned from the Dominican Republic.
There’s some naughty places down there for the Viagra user. An unmarried man would be committing adultery if he were using Viagra.
In the end, its Rush’s decision, your decision or my decision to face the ugly side of our lives and break away from it.
I’ve vented so much rage on this site it only seems appropriate to spend some time to consider how we can respond to the dismal times we are in.
I’ve spent a lot of time pondering Martin Luther King’s public life and private life.
The Left celebrates him with a national holiday.
If any of us are confronted about imperfection in our lives, we can start talking about MLK.
The Left may come down on us with dirt about our lives if we dare to stand up to them in public.
I’ll talk about Dr. King and what he called his “sin” at that point and stand tall.
On the other hand, maybe we need to set some high standards and not excuse our habitual wrongs.
You are so right about perfection.
I am not perfect, but I know I am utterly in need of God to live my life upright today and every day.
I can’t look other people straight in the eye without God.
God BLESS the man that killed Tiller.
It is time the left started to feel the wrath of conservatives.
There is a time for peace and a time for war.
Jesus said I came not to bring peace but a sword.
Those who beat their swords into plows will plow for those who do not.
A people unwilling to use extreme violence to preserve their liberty deserve the tyrants that rule them.
The two phrases are written over the doors of the Justice Department in DC, “Repression breeds violence” and “Where justice ends, tyranny begins”
Certainly the unborn are suffering under the boot of tyranny and are being repressed by the ungodly.
Rightous men have an obligation to change the wanton murder of the unborn.
A nation that allows the murder of the unborn deserves God’s harsh judgement.
