June 1st is Tony Snow's birthday. Please take a moment to remember our friend and keep his family in your thoughts today.

I remember Tony quite often.
Tony remains an outstanding example of a true American Patriot. An unassuming guy who was and still is respected by all of us.
G-d bless Tony and his family. I miss him a great deal; we’ve lost someone who could make sense of these crazy times. How he’d enjoy doing his radio show right now!

Saveliberty, I remember you calling in to Tony's radio show and speaking with great confidence. Maybe because somewhere along the way you had sent Tony chocolate somethings...cookies? When I called in, my mouth went dry, my mind turned to mush, and I babbled on. [Other than that, I was pretty good!]
Subsequently, I learned it was better if I called in and just talked to SurferBoy off the air. It is so good to see Griff Jenkins become a success on his own at Fox. He has done some really good [and some really funny] interviews, but as a retired vet, I very much enjoyed his Memorial Day report of the “Rolling Thunder” from the Arlington Cemetery area.
Great comment, Loud Mime. The anger is no longer just between the opposition parties, but has now spread to within the {Republican] party. How can Republicans expect to win over Independents, necessary to win, when they cannot even act civilly among themselves.

Thanks saveliberty for starting this thread! It’s nice to have all the snowflakes together again to love and remember Tony. I sure do miss him! It is unreal how often I think of him when I see the shenanigans Obama and his friends are pulling. In my head, I can imagine what he would say and that always brings a smile to my face. Somehow that makes it all somewhat bearable.
I miss my snowflake buddies too! (((Hugs))) to all.

I thought of Tony last night. I keep his birthday on my calendar. I have not gotten over the loss at all, am still in the denial stage.
I had a little talk with Tony when I thought of him. He was so special and greatly loved.
Rest in Peace, Tony Snow.
I was thinking of him yesterday. He gave service to our conservative cause when we most needed his skills. He took the White house job, knowing the risks, and the cut in pay. He had defeated cancer once, but he spent himself for us.
The press photo (with his signature) you have posted is the one I have in my office. Endorsed it to my wife, who loves him, and misses him so.
God Bless his family, I miss him so.
