In 1993 he had made a delivery just hours before terrorists bombed the WTC. This time Trombino tried to imagine what was happening upstairs as the building began to shake and water cascaded down. A policeman ordered him to move his truck, and Trombino was calling into Brink’s operations center from a payphone when the line went dead.
