PRESS STATEMENT ON BEHALF OF DR. GEORGE TILLER'S FAMILY (and we mourn the lives Mr. Tiller took)
KWCH CBS 12 ^ | 5/31/2009 | Dan Monnat, Lee Thompson

Posted on 05/31/2009 5:46:56 PM PDT by tobyhill

Dan Monnat and Lee Thompson, Dr. George Tiller's attorneys, issued the following statement today at the request of Mrs. Jeanne Tiller, the Tiller's four children and ten grandchildren:

"Today we mourn the loss of our husband, father and grandfather. Today's event is an unspeakable tragedy for all of us and for George's friends and patients. This is particularly heart wrenching because George was shot down in his house of worship, a place of peace.

We would like to express the family's thanks for the many messages of sympathy from our friends and from all across the nation. We also want to thank the law enforcement officers who are investigating this crime.

Our loss is also a loss for the City of Wichita and women across America. George dedicated his life to providing women with high-quality heath care despite frequent threats and violence. We ask that he be remembered as a good husband, father and grandfather and a dedicated servant on behalf of the rights of women everywhere."

Doubtful, but even if he were, he will still be painted as pro-life.

Spin, spin, spin all they want but his life still comes up as filthy with the stain of ugly, ruthless murders as almost if not any human being at any time ever. It not the court of man that will decide his eternal fate. It is the court of Almighty God, The Righteous Judge of every man. God's court is truly the no spin zone.

Ah, that people everywhere would come to their senses and stop trying to please man and realize that their eternal fate is in the hands of Almighty God. At any moment their time of earth may over. You can be walking into church at one moment and dead the next.

First off the drive bys will call the murderer a Christian, which of course is an impossibility.

I’m sure where he is going he will be seeking mercy the Christian Gospel teaches. Too bad he didn’t show the same mercy the the babies he slaughtered.

Some Christians think all you have to do is believe in Jesus and you can live in as much sin as you want. You are forgiven. They have an out - Jesus said that by the same standard you judge others so you will be judged. No judgement, no worry about being judged by God. It’s pretty strange to me, but I hear it alot.

So by that thinking, some here would prefer he be alive knowing full well he would be back on the job killing innocent babies next week? This thinking is one thing I can never understand about “some” Christians.

I say good riddance! And am thankful at least ONE baby will survive next week due to this monster's demise.

“Today’s event is an unspeakable tragedy for all of us and for George’s friends and patients”

For 50% of his patients, ‘he’ was the the unspeakable tragedy.

Oh puke! They have suffered an “unspeakable tradgedy”? Tiller dedicated his life to women’s health care? Women’s rights? What about the female babies he butchered? They didn’t get any rights, or get to breathe even!

These people are sick. Delusional. They will not see abortion for what it is, if they did their whole liberal world would fall apart. Abortion really is their number one issue, they cling to it like it’s something good! How sick is that? They dismiss the fact that Tiller took the most innocent of human life in exchange for money. Blood money.

Good grief, he has grandchildren? Wasn’t he tempted to kill them before birth? No? He killed other people’s grandchildren. How could anyone, even his family, let him near themselves or their kids? Gross! It’s like hugging Hitler!

This whole matter makes me ill. Gotta go hurl now. Can’t believe there are those who would praise a monster like Tiller. Hurl Hurl.

Reminds me of a liberal I used to know, she had a child(out of wedlock on purpose of course) and she used to let another mother with same situation child, babysit for her. Here’s the sick part, liberal #1 told me that the babysitter liberal had 4 abortions, she used them as birth control. I told liberal #1, how could you let someone who kills her own kids, babysit your kid? She had no reply other than stuttering. They really don’t get it. If they’re pregnant when they want to be, it’s a baby, otherwise it’s like a tumor to get rid of. Makes you wonder how many millions of killers are out there, the ones you don’t hear about on the news, the abortionists and their “patients”, all walking around after committing murder.

Put a 5 bag barf alert on this article. It’s the worst I’ve ever read. Just dispicable words from that family spokesman, spokesperson, whatever. They’re making me sick. Somebody post the little cartoon guy puking. That’s what I want to do.

To be Christian is to be “Christlike” it is an impossibility therfore for a Christian to commit murder or to condone it. That is a fact.

The Lord says it is His right, and I know He knows best.

I will also not feel a moment of regret that this man has been sent to judgment.

There is still one in Colorado. Maybe he’ll see the light and stop his wickedness.

Please explain how executing a cold blooded killer of 50,000 to 300,000 INNOCENT later term BABIES, is murder? Get real! That sort of thinking is the same as letting someone else go off to war, while they sit by with their Lillie white hands folded with piety.

What Tiller did was murder, what happened to him was JUSTICE regardless of who conducted the execution.

In the mid 20th Century H. Richard Niebuhr indicted liberal Protestantism for teaching "a God without wrath who brings humans without sin into a kingdom without judgment through a Christ without a cross."

That anti-Creed ought to be memorized by all orthodox Christians to be better equipped to combat heresy!

From the posting “he occasionally assisted with communion.”

Oh No, Tiller assisted with communion? That is really sick. That is not a Christian church, it’s a satanic church. I don’t care what they pretend to be, they’re not Christians.

This is getting into a philosophical discussion but I can’t agree that he was “executed” or that it was “justice”.

Was he the murderer of babies? Yes. Does that mean that we should walk up to him and shoot him in the head? Of course not.

Not being able to see that his killer is as much a murderer as the doctor ever was is the inability to understand the very teachings of Jesus that make it impossible to take a life, even an abortionist.

What do you mean anyone?

Are we to depend on man to tell us what the Bible says?

No, we have the right to read the Bible and interpret ourselves. If we are true to the Bible we will have no problem. If we chose parts and ignore others, we answer to God.

A church that stands for nothing - is nothing.

Undone in his house of worship? Christ did not bat an eye about taking on the thugs in the temple. God have mercy on the protector of innocents.

A very sick society that allows monsters like Tiller to do what he did for so many years.

Yes, and we spend post after post worrying how the left will protray us?

How crazy do we get. Worrying that those that want to kill innocent babies will call us radicals, terrorists or worse.

Who cares what they think. They don’t need to be judging us - they need to judge themselves before it is too late.
