No article link, just headline
Um, I usually only stick my nose into others' business to get them to stop fighting. That's the case here, I love debate but hate fights on FR. We need to be very conscious of how critical lurkers view us. We need to be the adults in this cultural war IMO. Generally a vigilante understands that they are taking the law into their own hands and the price is that, if caught, they must pay the piper. In this case I think both Tiller and his murderer should be put to death BUT Tiller was (most unfortunately) judged to be within the (pathetic) law. Tiller's gone now and his murderer, according to law, should be punished to the max.
Indeed.
Apologize for the HTML.
I have a 1998 Z28 Camaro just dying to be driven hard and fast.
I usually only throw gasoline to stop fires.
I'm surprised to learn that but I still can't stand him.
Jack Ruby....That’s the first thing that came to my mind, when I hard he had been shot.
Some can't handle an intense ethical discussion that doesn't have easy answers. My experience is it's best to ignore them.
I rather believe that SENSIBLE CONSERVATIVES are NOT “pressure cookers” but wise people inspired by reason and judeo-christian teachings.
I understand your analogy but it’s only an analogy
Just wondering. Weren't you the one who a while back was starting daily threads praying for the death of Bin Laden?
If not, please accept my apologies in advance for mistaking you for another poster.
"We have some experience with late terminations; about 10,000 patients between 24 and 36 weeks and something like 800 fetal anomalies between 26 and 36 weeks in the past 5 years." - abortionist George Tiller, declaring his pro-choice credentials in a speech to the National Abortion Federation, April 2-4, 1995, New Orleans, LA.
May God have mercy upon us all.
Not me, me I think Bin Laden Bin Dead a long time. Tora Bora time.
I hope the shooter is a jilted homosexual lover.
The Kicker: Do you know from whence the Alan Guttmacher institute comes?
Bring waffles, it’s pretty syrupy:
http://www.guttmacher.org/about/alan-bio.html
Wiki (I know, just for additional surprises of organizations he worked with):
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Guttmacher
Short:
Alan Frank Guttmacher, MD (1898-1974) was an American obstetrician/gynecologist who devoted his career to the welfare of women and minorities. He served as president of Planned Parenthood and vice-president of the American Eugenics Society. Dr. Guttmacher founded the American Association of Planned Parenthood Physicians, now known as the Association of Reproductive Health Professionals, as a forum for physicians to discuss the birth control pill and other advances in the field. He founded the Association for the Study of Abortion in 1964. He was a member of the Association for Voluntary Sterilization. The Guttmacher Institute is named after him.
BTW, he was the one who changed back the definition of fertilization as life to birth (interfered with the pill and IUDs he pushed to the UN for other countries as well as this one). His twin brother was a psychiatrist and twisted as well.
As Planned Parenthood’s Alan Guttmacher told an interviewer, “If you’re going to curb population, it’s extremely important not to have it done by the damned Yankee, but by the UN. Because the thing is, then it’s not considered genocide.” He added: “If the United States goes to the black man or the yellow man and says slow down your reproductive rate, we’re immediately suspected of having ulterior motives to keep the white man dominant in the world. If you can send in a colorful UN force, you’ve got much better leverage.”
- Gee, he’s just trying to help. /s
After Hitler... they could have been shut down (we were already sterilizing in almost 30 states here), but Rockefeller bailed them out. That family is bad blood.
Speaking of which...
Case in point. Hear the slickness and see the real enviro message. Same beast, different name.
I know, irony.
;0)
I know it wasn’t you, silly. You’re Catholic. I was asking xzins. lol.
This discussion reminds me of the guy who tried to kill Hitler. Was he wrong?
I doubt it actually. It actually has the potential to help if you conclude that all previous measures have failed to achieve a desirable outcome.
Hey Feds, think of it this way, Tiller died the same way thousands of others do every year but in this case, Tiller's death assures many children will live.
I don't condone murder but facts are facts.
