WICHITA, Kan. -- Dr. George Tiller, a Kansas man who became one of the most famous figures in the national debate over abortion, was shot and killed at his church Sunday morning, KAKE-TV reported.
Tiller was walking into Reformation Lutheran Church at 10:03 a.m., when he was shot.
Tiller was pronounced dead when emergency crews arrived, the station reported.
Police were looking for a blue Ford Taurus with a K-State vanity plate, license number 225 BAB. Police described him as a white male in his 50's or 60's, 6'1," 220 lbs, wearing a white shirt and dark pants.
I guess the allies should not have killed a single Nazi soldier in WWII?
To invoke a favorite meme of the left: I question the timing. This looks like the opening for an anti-Christian Kristallnacht.Think of Janet ‘conservatives are enemies of the state’ Napolitano’s DHS report.
Murder is your spelling of assassinate.
The question has no relevance.
Yes. Look what happened in 1998 when that doctor was killed in New York State. What should have been a good year for Republican candidates turned out rather poorly.
Don't be so sure. There are those who will not travel farther even for a late-term abortion. And there are those who will have this week's appointment canceled. sob sob
It is not murder to kill someone to save someone else's life.
Remember, we ALL deserve hell. Perhaps Tiller turned to God with his last breaths. We could meet him in Heaven.
yep
It’s starting...
Indeed it is.
Bullcrap. Burning cities didnt do anything for civil rights. What it did do, was make whitey have an excuse to equate black with “dangerous”.
What turned the tide was refusing to move to the back of the bus,, or those men in dress suits weearing signs saying “I am a man”. What turned the tide was stuff like Little Rock High, well-dressed kids just attempting to go to school.
If you want a better analogy from the civil rights era. Think about the guy dynamiting that church and killing the four little girls. His purpose was to stop desegregation, he galvanized thought against his cause.
Todays murderer will probably achieve a similar result. This is a huge black eye. Sane anti-abortionists and the cause were hurt today. This is the mentality of the church that protests soldier funerals. Are you going to want to be a supported of that bunch of low lifes if it turns out to be one of them?
My sentiments exactly!
Could be a false flag op. Regardless, it WILL be used against us by the dark side. Prepare for the worst.
>Both the shooter and the victim will be judged.<
The shooter had to kill in order to save the lives of numerous future children.
If the shooter is considered a murderer, then so are our brave soldiers. They (the soldiers) have to kill in order to save our lives from the constant threat of terrorism.
Catholics know the Confiteor: “...for what I have done and what I have failed to do...” Those who vored for Obama are failing to protect many of our future children by allowing the snuffing out of their lives intentionally.
(And all you catholic Obama voters, don’t expect an apology from me. You made your beds, learn to sleep in them.)
Right, and if you don’t want one, you don’t have to have one...isn’t that the ‘choice’ that is advertised?
Take a look at how Daily Kos is covering reactions of FR.
Couldn’t agree more. How this will be portrayed in the media and to the average voter will end up doing great harm to the pro-life movement.
Not going to go to that swamp. What- do they think we’re celebrating?
I’ve heard the same sort of stuff from those that think 9-11 was an anti-muslim plot...
When they apologise for Ayers and their other homegrown terrorists instead of giving them university professorships, I’ll care what they think.
