Kansas Abortionist George Tiller was shot today as he was going to Church.

The government gets no pass from me. But blurring the lines on murder is a dangerous slippery slope. This man did not deserve to be murdered.

There’s no question that this vigilante’s actions will have far-reaching consequences.
My reply was intended to address the limited scope of the emotional factors that could have been involved in this man’s actions.
Isn’t it easy to say what so-&-so should have done, instead of what he did? For instance, if I were a guy that had a dear friend or relative who was harmed or killed by an abortionist, I’d like to think that I could show the kind of restraint that you have advocated. However, I also know that I am only human.
Perhaps someone with “empathy”, such as Sonia Sotomayor, or the WH resident, could take a “compassionate” interest in Mr. Roeder’s case. I won’t hold my breath.
Yeah, sort of like the captain of the Titanic deciding who would get in the life boat. He was powerless to save everyone because their were not enough lifeboats. We have plenty of life boats, we just don't seem to have a captain to order the boats filled.
Big moneyed people got together this past week and decide that the world population should be no more than eight an one half billion people. I wonder who will decide who has to die to maintain that cap on the population.
What political reason was this murderer killedfor?
Thanks for the ping. The good news is that the lady fully quoted the post.
I understand the killer of Tiller is not Jesus. I never said he was.
I was pointing out that Revelation 19:11 through 21 shows us Jesus the Judge, who uses His words to execute justice. Not many people can rectify the Servant, the One who died in love for us, with being the King of Kings who rules with an iron fist. Jesus is all of the Old Testament fulfilled-and the Old Testament is full of love of the Father for us.
Many did not see that (Same as a baby who cries when told not to touch the hot stove), and even John the Baptist asked if Jesus was the Messiah because He was not the ruler they had in mind. Though He will be when He returns.
I often thought that if Christians stopped warning pagans about the consequences of their sin, and were totally pacifist, the return of the Lord would have happened long ago because of the proliferation of evil growing to be as it was before the days of Noah. God must be so abundantly loving to have given us this second chance and here we are blowing it again.
The thousand years of Jesus’ reign will have to be a time of overflowing peace, joy and blessing, filled with trillions of babies, for God to put up with likes of us. Seriously, how many people can this world support? Why don’t we have the faith in God and man to find out? Actually, right now man is too selfish. If we shared all of our knowledge think what we could do for each other. But no matter what the government, communist, socialist, republic, democracy, man is overcome with lust for money and power.
We agree completely.
Liberals have all kinds of “empathy” for gang-bangers, drug dealers and other criminals -—
But someone who shoots a liberal Icon like Tiller?
Well, I do not hear much, in the way of “empathy” for this shooter, coming from the Left.
“...I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” ~Matthew 9.12-13 Read your Bible, Sir.” ~ Avid Spectator
There are those who think human beings are ‘basically’ good, but still have the capacity to do bad things once in a while. Then there are those who think human beings are basically ‘not good’, but are capable of doing good once in a while.
Those who are unable to comprehend the depth of depravity of which they, and all human beings are capable, are so spiritually immature that they have a very hard time thinking that Jesus was talking about them when he said he was only interested in helping the sick / sinners. :)

“LEFTISM AIMS LOW AND ALWAYS REACHES ITS TARGET”
http://www.drsanity.blogspot.com/
This whole Tiller issue is “much ado about nothing”. We live in a violent world. Because a store clerk, thug, drug addict, husband/wife or doctor is murdered is commonplace. Murder happens everyday in this country.. so why should abortionist be immune?
ANYBODY can potentially be a murderer when pushed to their limits. Welcome and farewell to the real world Mr. Tiller.
You’re welcome. Love it!
So the Father hasn't already determined, and doesn't already know, the day and the hour and instead is constrained by human beings who get to make that determination?
Your reasoning is emotion driven, circular, and thus flawed.
Or we could just forsake the lifeboats because there aren’t enough for everyone. That way everyone dies.
I guarantee it won’t be the elites being allowed to die off.
Bruce: “Terrorism will never work, unless you think death is an end.”
HotLead61: “My reply was intended to address the limited scope of the emotional factors that could have been involved in this mans actions.”
Bruce: From what further I’ve heard, this guy believed in murdering abortionists. We can now take your interesting scenario off the table that he was avenging a daughter or wife killed in a botched abortion, I think.
Now the question really is for those who are pro-murder as a pro-life strategy - what is your end game?
Terrorism will never work, unless you think death is an end.
Of course not, you're just an idiot.
The question really is; what is your end game?
"Terrorism will never work, unless you think death is an end."
Depends on what definition of 'work' and 'end' you use.
I have not taken the time to study if or how God avenges the death of the innocent on a national level. I only looked into His response to the practice of child sacrifice.
An interesting Bible verse is Revelation 18:24 from Young’s literal translation.
“and in her blood of prophets and of saints was found, and of all those who have been slain on the earth.”
How can God judge a city, a great evil city, and see in it the shed blood of all who have been murdered-and this would include Tiller’s? Do I believe Tiller is innocent? I will have to think about that since abortion is legal...he is as innocent as KARL BRANDT, SIEGFRIED HANDLOSER, OSKAR SCHROEDER, KARL GENZKEN, KARL GEBHARDT, RUDOLF BRANDT, JOACHIM MRUGOWSKY, HELMUT POPPENDICK, WOLFRAM SIEVERS, GERHARD ROSE, VIKTOR BRACK, etc.
And also, therefore, I could say, because it is legal, this nation, and every other nation that has legalized abortion, is guilty in God’s eyes.
Am I promoting and subscribing by warning of coming judgment? Christians are to take care of the orphans and widows, and serve as Christ served. We are not to take vengeance, that is God’s job. He will allow what is just. Is national punishment possible? Have you been keeping up with the news lately?
I do not have to do a thing to avenge the death of the innocent, I have but to voice my opinion of its inherent evil, its abomination before the One True God, and the consequences of His wrath.
Believe me, I would love nothing more than to see our nation repent of the abomination of abortion, memorialize the dead, vow to never allow it again with an irreversible amendment to the Constitution, not only to end the shedding of innocent blood which flows through our towns and cities, but to avert the wrath of God.
If you do not believe in God or that He does not judge the nations, then you have no worries.
supposition just like whatever harm one man has done..
