TEHRAN, May 31 (UPI) -- An Iranian Kish Air passenger flight returned safely to Ahvaz airport after a crew member found a bomb in the plane's toilet, authorities said.
The bomb was discovered late Saturday as the plane was en route to Tehran from Khuzestan province with 131 aboard, Iran's Fars news agency reported.

Suspect... just following the bomb in Zahedan at the Pakistani border. In Ahvaz (Khuzistan, mainly populated by Arabs) there are Arab separatists who since long carry out attacks, but considering that in a few weeks presidential elections (sort of) take place in Iran, I wouldn't rule out that Ahmadinejad is using his Revolutionary Guard ties to orchestrate such events in order to present himself as "though on terror".

seriously, it would be just like ‘em to take a page from the 1939 germany-poland playbook, wouldn’t it.

I agree 100%. Some of the ‘violence’ has been directed against Ahmedinejad’s campaign offices. It’s all too convenient, like it’s tailor made to create sympathy for certain policies and politicians right before their election.

Probably Jundullah. One of KSM former associates. Which of course we ‘help’.

... not to forget creating some “common ground” with Obama against terrorism. Ahmadinejads rivals in the election have stated that they are open to Obama... looks like Mahmud tries to make up for that. I suspect his days are over, since Khamenei has indicated that he tilts towards the “pro-reform” (haha) Musavi.

Jundallah is in Baluchistan (South East), where the Bomb went off shortly ago. This is Khuzistan (South West), where the Arabs dwell.

Divide and conquer. It happens here. R’s/D’s. Arabs/Iranians.
Nothing new. Jundallah has a history of attacking prior to elections.

I know what happened; a suicide bomber was on call for the weekend, and just brought what he had with him to the plane ride.

Al-Ahwaz probably. They were setting off bombs in Ahwaz a couple of years ago at banks and businesses. Or it does seem like last time the nut job was up for election there was trouble in Ahwaz, maybe it is him doing it.
Ahwaz, my beautiful Ahwaz. Of course, Tehran was even more fantastic but Ahwaz was where I lived.

Just how were you able to endure the Ahwaz summers? :o)

I would say that the incidents we’ve seen lately reflect the Saudi hand.

All jokes aside, this sounds like a crock of crap -- not unlike the "Lebanese discover Israeli spy ring" garbage. It's meme-building, plain and simple.
