Geez.......

I certainly don’t want to see homosexuals beaten up or abused or anything like that. HOWEVER, can I ask why we need to talk about homosexuality in schools at all???????

We should teach kids to be respectful of all, and not to pick on anyone for any reason. If we do that, then there’s no need for Days of Silence and sensitivity training based on politically correct groups who have a grievance.

I don’t think we need to discuss homosexuality at all in schools. When these kids graduate from high school, if they feel any desire towards homosexuality, they will explore that lifestyle as a consenting adult. There’s no need to influence young people who are still maturing and going through puberty and growing, with concepts of sexuality such as same-sex attractions.

Because we can’t talk about God. [/sarc][/cynic]

Quite so, however, your comments are based on the theory that GLBT community organsisers want equal status. They dont. They want superior rights to everyone else, based on the supposition they are an “oppressed minority”.

Bingo. Why get into the specifics of it all (especially on a topic like sex)? That's the parents job to discuss with their own children in the way they believe is appropriate, IMHO.

Don't teach kids "diversity," teach them to love one another. Each time I hear my pastor speak, I understand what it means to "hate the sin, love the sinner." I am constantly trying to be the person God wants me to be and that means following his rules. But since we've taken God out of the schools...we've left kids at the mercy of the liberals and hardcore leftists.

There is nothing wrong with a child, who is at a vulnerable age and that is being subjected to such blatant indoctrination, voicing his belief that the values of homosexual culture are debased and destructive - in the child's own words, of course. This isn't picking on anyone.

What constitutes 'bullying' and 'teasing' to the homo-activist is ANY suggestion, no matter how reasoned or fact-based, that casts the slightest aspersion on homosexual behavior - it is considered the worst type of bullying, worthy of expulsion or, worse, 'sensitivity training.' The latest school board outrage in Alameda School district was enacted because kids were calling other kids 'gay' as a fun-loving put down, for crying out loud.

Agreed 100%. But, I don’t believe they’re really interested in stopping bullying. They just want to make sure only they can be bullies.

If homosexuals would keep their private lives private like they say it is, there wouldn’t be any *discrimination* against them.

Instead, they push it in everyone’s face and then cry foul when people object.

They don’t want equal rights, which they already have as American citizens, they want special privileges based on nothing more than lifestyle choice.

And there’s NO NEED AT ALL for them to be pushing it kids. That’s just child abuse.

I totally agree with you. I believe school is for learning the things like reading , English, math, languages etc. Sex ought to be left out of school. However if this gay agenda is going to be pushed down our children's throats we as parents better tell our children what gay sex really is. I don't like the thought but rather then have some queer tell my child all the wonderful (grr) crap about homo sex I will tell her myself.

This was one of the many reasons I decided to home school. I just hope & pray that the gays don't try to end home schooling.

I do know that if they were honest with the children & told them just what gay sex truly is most children would be grossed out. The gay agenda wants to use our children as their future partners. They call us normal families breeders and I truly resent that. What they are doing is totally gross, disgusting & parents ought to rise up & say enough. There is no normal reason to expose children to this, none at all.
