I am no fan of pitbulls, I’ve never had to deal with them personally but their reputation is such I would never trust them or want my kids around them. That being said whoever did this needs to be arrested and taken for a time out from society for a nice long while.

I hate pit bulls but this is beyond the pale. Whoever did this is a monster. But why are they treating the dog? why not put itr out of it’s misery?

It doesn't sound like they know who the owner of the dog is. This is horrible what was done to this dog, but if he doesn't have an owner, why put him through the pain and trials of recovery from his injuries? I guess someone will see this tragic story and adopt this dog. Meanwhile, in Loudoun, Virginia, they are euthanizing perfectly healthy pit bulls in the public shelters, because a Judge has upheld a law which makes it illegal to adopt them.

Many shelters and animal rescue groups are struggling for money and have more animals to care for than resources. Why use those resources rescuing this dog -- it would be better to put him to sleep and grab a healthy dog from Loudoun that is going to be put to sleep.

Anyone who is so callous, cruel, and evil towards a dog would have no problem exhibiting this same behavior towards a person.

Who ever would do this is dangerous to anyone around them, animal or human.
