So, you think that because one poster on FR comments that a diabetic supreme court nominee might not live to a ripe old age that all 350,000 of us are insensitive right-wing loons?
Got news for you pal. The owner of Free Republic (namely me) is diabetic and I've already lost one leg due to this despicable disease and the other leg looks like it's ready to fall off any day now. My sister died of complications brought on by juvenile diabetes at the tender age 43. I've out-lived her in years, but I don't think I'll be signing on to any life term judgeships. And I sure as hell wouldn't wish this disease on anyone else.
Hey, what can I say. My political enemies make fun of the one-legged old gimp every day of the week. Good thing I'm not as sensitive as you about such nonsensical non-issues.
And if it's impossible for a minority to be racist, then it's impossible for a diabetic to be insensitive. /sarc

You get negative feedback as well, O'Reilly; but no one judges your show because of it. How about finding another way to prove your 'fair/balance' to the Left lackeys; becuase this demonstrates something else entirely.
[Doubt O'Reilly has ever visited FR; but seems to have a watchful staff; who does exactly what O'Reilly accuses the 'Left' of doing to him; i.e. lying in wait for something to 'shout about'; lie about; or misconstrue and misrepresent.

My grandma (101) loves him, loves him. But I find myself yelling at O’Reilley to shut up often. Then he started having silkpants Morris on there all the time and my nausea increased. I have heard he is extremely litigious and pretty unreasonable. He is, in short, a hooker. Bold fresh, bold fresh! Put a cork in it already. Levin’s beating him now, right?

But didn’t the recent Gallup have us tied with Democrats? I think that would mean BOTH parties are losing members.
Look, what I want is a good fiscal conservative with a freaking sense of humor and quick mind in the mold of Ronald Reagan. That’s what I want. Not a politician, a LEADER.
Here’s the deal with O’Reilley I think. Looking at the ratings, he’s got to feel Glenn Beck nipping at his heels. Beck’s accused of being outragious, but, for me...he’s at least VOICING my concerns, which go way beyond “party identity” right now.
Also, maybe the MSNBC cabal rage-hating on him every night, shooting vitriol from their eyes is making him soft. And boring. Bill is getting really boring. He’s always been annoying. But obviously SOMEONE’S reading Free Republic.
So, Mr. Bill, if you’re here right now...just bugger off. I imagine that members of THIS board are going up as people look for good ideas and like-minded conservatives to talk with. Freely. That means mentioning Sotomayor’s health. That means mentioning her ruling in the firemen case. That means wondering if she’s an activist. That means pointing out that a statement she made is racist. That’s what THINKING humans should do. It’s the Supreme Court, Bill...it’s a BIG DEAL! And frankly, I don’t give a BOLD FRESH you know what if she’s “hispanic”...because right now we have a Chicago politician in the White House, who is looking to socialize medicine, who has taken over a private company, who is cooking the Census, and the problem arose because he was given passes because he is BLACK. Things that were OBVIOUS were overlooked and excused because he is BLACK.
So I don’t care about appearing compassionate. Compassionate loses you freedom.
The Factor didn’t even cover the fact that Hugo Chavez took one of our factories. Shame on you and your endless self-promotion and lack of humor.

Wiener and BO are BOTH populists with little or no philosophical coherence. Both can be amusing. Both are pretty smart. I actually put Bill Bennett in the same category. They’re NOT conservatives, they’re populists with some traditionalist leanings.
