Jiji Tsushin via Yahoo Japan (in Japanese) ^ | 27 April 2009 | AmericanInTokyo

Posted on 05/27/2009 1:23:59 AM PDT by AmericanInTokyo

Begin my translation:

From a dispatch in Seoul per Japanese JIJI wire services, North Korea's Central News Agency [KCNA] on Wednesday, May 27th said that with South Korea's threatened "total" participation in the PSI Initiative (which allows North Korean ships to be stopped and checked by various nations for nuclear weapons being exported) that it amounts to a "declaration of war against North Korea".

The statement was released by the North Korean military representative in Panmunjom military armistace area. He iterated that from now on, South Korean and American vessels traveling in the Yellow Sea (West Sea, just off the West Coast of North Korea), cannot be guaranteed as safe. In the statement, the names of ROK President Lee and Obama of the USA were singled out, and said they are responsible for a "furthering a war situation on the Korean peninsula". It threatened military action due to the decision by South Korea to participate full-fledged in the PSI initiative.

End translation (on web just now)

The really horrific thing is that, undoubtedly, North Korea has seen THIS!

Is this what Joe Biden was referring to when he suggested Obama would be tested in the first 6 months?

Everything they (Washington, D.C.) say is a joke. None of it resonates with the North Koreans or scares them. THESE ARE ABJECT AMATEURS in charge of our foreign policy.

Look at this stuff!

"Continued behavior will only isolate North Korea further".

They couldnt give a crap!!

"The Six Party Talks could be jeopardized".

They couldnt give a crap!!

"The international community will join against them.

They couldnt give a crap!!

"The creates all kinds of tensions in Northeast Asia."

They couldnt give a crap!!

"A UN Resolution condeming them, in the strongest terms, will be passed."

They couldnt give a crap!!

Actually the test was 5 April 2009. Obama failed miserably. This has now emboldend North Korea. Just as Kruschev was embolden as a result of Vienna with Kennedy. It is textbook case. And yes, it is exactly Biden’s prediction.

Good post.

The questions of does he have the onions and will he use them are one part.

The other is the incredible calculation of how to use power. Blockade, selective strikes on missile sites, massive pre-emptive strike on Seoul-targeted artillery (where success is at best a maybe… Miscalculation will be measured in millions of lives.

If Obama has and decides to use his onions, the hard part has only begun.

The next big thing will be nuclear blackmail.

The raghead countries like Pakistan (who will be under Taliban control by the end of the year) will pass off warheads to terrorist groups who will demand all sorts of ransoms and capitulations from POTUS muzzie Hussein and his retarded minions.

This SOB from Kenya is going to make Jimmy Carter look like Atilla the Hun.

We call them mad. Chesterton said a madman is not someone who has lost their reason, but one who had lost everything but their reason.

What is NK’s reason? They want to humiliate and manipulate the US, they want immense power based on raw threat. But to what end? I don’t believe they want to colonize.

Is it that they have no other way to support themselves except ransom for their hostages on both sides of the parallel?

Just 68 years ago the Japs and Germans allied against us and started WWII.

The Venezuelans, Iranians, and N. Koreans could do the same thing in a heartbeat with covert support from Russia and and the islamonazis

Well, let’s make sure we put some unarmed ships in the area so they can be boarded and we’ll be embarassed. That seems to be the usual tactic we use

Brief me. Is any Republic US Senator standing up on the floor of the Senate, or going before mikes on Tuesday and Wednesday, challenging both Kim Jong il for his recklessness

They had better not be, at least publically, not if you honor the Constitution of the United States. Foreign policy is the job of the POTUS like it or not. Elections have conssequences America. Enjoy.

As if the Congress and the Senate had no public comments or opposition to Bush in his Iraq War and advance. /sarc I am reminded (and would share with you) the oath of office each Senator and Congressman took.

They want, are stomping their feet and screaming, for attention. They are but a handfull of men wanting to be considered a factor in the history of the world.

They can’t tolerate being ignored.

I'm sure this has a lot do with the latest NK saber rattling. In fact it was probably coordinated to coinside:

Iran sends warships to Gulf of Aden - navy

TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran has sent six warships to international waters, including the Gulf of Aden, to show its ability to confront any foreign threats, its naval commander said on Monday.

“The West better get off it’s collect ass and act like they have a few brain cells left”

I agree.

However, the West has too many Neville Chamberlains in power.

I am afraid MILLIONS will die over the next few years because of the naivety of the liberals in the west.
