Americans sent more than $30 million to this Caribbean island last year to claim winnings in a Jamaican lottery. The trouble is there was no such contest.

Good grief. I cannot believe people are stupid enough to fall for a scam like this. Next thing, you will tell me people are stupid enough to vote for a presidential candidate because they believed he could change the climate or give them a new car or get them promoted from their minimum wage job at Mc. Donald’s.

Western Union wire transfer of money. These days, it's just a plain EFT (electronic funds transfer). It's funny how some archaic or anachronistic language still creeps into stuff.
