President Obama's radical new nominee to replace Associate Justice David Souter on the Supreme Court, Sonia Sotomayor, used to serve on the board of LatinoJustice PRLDEF (White House backgrounder), one of the racial grievance groups that helped to sink the judicial nomination of Honduran-born Miguel Estrada in 2003.
Along with groups such as the Mexican-American Legal Defense and Education Fund (MALDEF), LatinoJustice fought a war of attrition against President George W. Bush's 2001 nomination of conservative Miguel Estrada, a Honduran-born immigrant, to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia. Democrats in the Senate filibustered the nomination and a weary Estrada withdrew from consideration in 2003.
Today LatinoJustice PRLDEF, a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit, hailed the nomination of Sotomayor on the basis of her ethno-cultural heritage. "As the second largest and fastest growing population in America, with a large pool of qualified individuals to choose from, it was wholly appropriate for the president to nominate a Hispanic," the group said in a written statement. According to the group's website, it gets some of its funding from George Soros's Open Society Institute.
A search of philanthropy databases reveals other significant donors to LatinoJustice to be Carnegie Corporation of New York ($1,025,000 since 2000), Ford Foundation ($2,280,000 since 2001), Rockefeller Foundation ($1,275,000 since 2000), and JPMorganChase Foundation ($70,000 since 2001).
Among radical left-wing groups, it has a fairly garden-variety agenda. A captive of identity politics, it pushes for enforced multiculturalism, diversity, bilingual public education, race-based gerrymandering of electoral districts, race-based employment quotas, tenants' rights, and illegal immigrants' rights.
LatinoJustice PRLDEF was known as the Puerto Rican Legal Defense and Education Fund until last year when it filed Articles of Amendment with New York State to change its name.
we are becoming a country owned and controlled by Soros...
All roads lead to Soros with 0bama.
It is becoming obvious. Sotomayor is a bigot.
In other words, liberalism, using race as a smokescreen.

Huh. Imagine that. A radical liberal President hires a radical liberal SCOTUS.
What can the Republicans do? Not a damn thing except point it out....go through her record—it is extensive—and point out every single radical ruling.
You may not stop her, but you’ll certainly let American voters know who Hussein thinks is a good justice.
Rush is correct when he says this is a PERFECT opportunity to expose Hussein.
I hope the Republicans ask her if she is wiser than Latino males too.
Sonia needs to be stopped immediately if possible. Or, at least, throw some road blocks in her way!
We need to fight this tooth and nail... Pull out as many stops as possible for these evil and wicked people that wish to be our "rulers and dictators".
Sotomayor stated as much when she stated that on the US Federal Court of Appeals level, her job was to "make laws"... An obvious unconstitional statement on her part...
Also added the keyword "Soros"... The tie that binds..
This is racism:
I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasnt lived that life, said Judge Sotomayor
Draw a line in the sand!
Welcome to the United States of MEXICO!
It’s not enough for them to destroy their own country but now they are trying to do the same in our country!

LatinoJustice PRLDEF has called upon the U.S. Department of Justice to start an independent investigation of the Suffolk County Police Department, alleging that the department has discriminated against Latinos by failing to fully investigate attacks against them and by instituting polices that discourage Latinos from reporting crimes.
******
LatinoJustice PRLDEF has warned Mahopac Town Supervisor Kenneth Schmitt that his attempts to initiate a program which would authorize local police to arrest Latino day laborers on public sidewalks could lead to a costly lawsuit.

Latinos in Plainfield, NJ won a major legal victory when a Federal judge dismissed a claim alleging that renting apartments to undocumented immigrants constitutes unlawful harboring.

LatinoJustice PRLDEF has filed a petition with the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, accusing the the United States of violating the human rights of Latinos living within the country’s borders.

LatinoJustice PRLDEF champions an equitable society. Using the power of the law together with advocacy and education, LatinoJustice PRLDEF protects opportunities for all Latinos to succeed in school and work, fulfill their dreams, and sustain their families and communities.
This is dissapointing, but not surprising.
Our Founding
In 1972, when the Puerto Rican Legal Defense and Education Fund began its work, Puerto Ricans had no voice and were almost totally excluded from participating in public life. From the courts to town councils, from boardrooms to classrooms, Puerto Ricans were simply invisible.
Three young attorneys Jorge Batista, Victor Marrero and Cesar A. Peralesdecided to establish an organization that could challenge the nation’s barriers and provide Latinos with the legal resources to overcome the obstacles that frustrated their dreams and limited their lives. In 1972, in a non-descript office on Second Avenue, PRLDEF was born.

It goes way beyond the word disappointing; treasonous would do better.
This is what these people think of Americans who actually pay their way in OUR COUNTRY with no accountability because of fear of being called a RACIST!
