Romans 1

Unbelief and Its Consequences

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. 21 For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures.

24 Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them. 25 For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

26 For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27 and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error.

28 And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, 30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31 without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; 32 and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.

Nah, he's something for novice pagan idiots to worship, but he's still just a houseboy in the kingdom of hell. Of course, he'll be somewhat surprised when he gets there . . .

They probably would observe that Ishtar feller being into nature and all, but, then again, all that fertility stuff might get them a tich too riled. In SF, it’s probably a safe bet to go with yer basic, straight-up (oops), all inclusive Satanic chants.

The Methodist church is bringing Jeremiah Wright to Iowa and they’re having a rainbow “communion”. http://www.mfsaiowa.org/MAY-2009-MFSAIowa-Memo.pdf

Little do they know that God is not hearing such “prayer”. On the other hand, their father the devil will be pleased.

The Methodist church

I've seen their commercials on TV, and it looks like they're willing to do anything to fill their collection plates.

In the end times, the apostate church will follow the doctrines of demons. The rules of Political Correctness are the opposite of the 10 Commandments.

The ones who actively condone and/or perform same sex marriage include the United Church of Christ, the Episcopal Church, ELCA, American Baptist, California Council of Churches, Methodists, the Quakers, many of the liberal wings of the mainstream denominations, and the Reform Jews (from http://www.buddybuddy.com/blessing.html).

I doubt they’re praying to the One who said this:

4 He answered, “Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, 5 and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? 6 So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.”
Matthew 19:4-6

The Catholic Church should be at the front on the war for family-values. I was raised a Catholic and paid my dues, therefore I feel I have the wright to expect more from this powerful church.

Many "Catholics" accuse me of "bashing" the church, when all I want in fact is for the church to do WHAT THEY SHOULD BE DOING: FIGHTING FOR OUR CULTURE AND OUR VALUES.

So let's keep an eye on them and let's see what they do

The one thing we need to start attacking back on when they say marriage is about two people who love each other...

Marriage has never just been about that, it’s so much more than that. It’s about a man and a woman who love each other and want to spend the rest of their lives together, most likely have children together, and complement the others’ differences so that the children grow up with good male and female role models. Because mothers cannot be fathers, and fathers cannot be mothers. People cannot be what they are not. Having a mom and dad is critical; two men cannot play ‘mom’ and dad, and two women can’t play mom and ‘dad’.

Where did you get the info about the Quakers? I’m a member of a Friends church that belongs to Southwest Yearly Meeting and I have not heard about any of our churches performing same sex weddings. In fact our church was very vocal in favor of Prop 8.

Marriage is a two people loving each other is the propaganda methods from Prof. Lackoff and his book “winning with words”. It is promoting left wing propaganda.

Marriage is about producing children for future generations. Homosexuals are only about the personal orgasm. There is no “love test” in the law. Lackoff is just pushing a red herring.

Society rewards the institution which furthers society. Marrige promotes future generations of society by creating new generations. Homosexuality contributes nothing and should be comensuratly rewarded with nothing.

Both definitions are too narrow. It is not just about two people loving each other. It is not just about having offspring. It is both of these things and more. It is setting up the foundation of the family. It is a family of two. That framework sets the ability for others to be added to that family through procreation, and grow up in a stable environment that has male and female role models that help the kids learn how people relate to one another properly.
