Sarah Palin Picks Christian Journalist to Collaborate on Memoir
USNews ^ | 5/22/09 | Dan Gilgoff

Sarah Palin has picked a Christian author and magazine journalist to collaborate with her on her forthcoming memoir for HarperCollins. The journalist, Lynn Vincent, has been at World—the nation's best-read Christian newsmagazine—for the last 10 years as a writer and editor.

This isn't a surprising choice for Palin, but it's certainly one worth noting. It's more evidence that she's honing a distinctly Christian public image since coming off the campaign trail last year. This seems to be a change from the days when she was a state-level figure, almost entirely unknown outside of Alaska.

Ok, everyone, if that doesn’t scare you away from Liz Cheney, one of Romney’s top advisors, nothing will! It’s obvious this poster is against Palin because he’s all about Romney.

Wow...

Also his site says he did some work for Haley.

Will have to check that out.

Ann definitely said it. The truth hurts.

Perhaps Palin’s year is 2012, but I would recommend that she take a little more time to become older and wiser. She ought to spend the next decade being a good governor, tending to her children so none of them turn out like Ron Reagan Jr., and reading everything Phyllis Schlafly, Thomas Sowell, Ronald Reagan and “Publius” have ever written. http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=29995

Reading between the lines there, I think it's that Ann said she should be reading books instead of hiring someone to write hers.

Michael Reagan is a phony who only got anywhere because of his last name. He left the Republican party a long time ago when he got butthurt over something I can't remember. Does he even have any radio affiliates left?

I am not supporting anyone for president. I'm leaning towards Mark Sanford. I like Romney but I'm still looking around.

I can't see all your school yard friends that you pinged so I just cut and pasted their names.

What I am saying is that Palin isn't the right choice.

I'm glad you like my work. I've probably worked in your state for someone you know.

So - unless you're a coward, how about telling us a little about yourself as well? My cards are on the table. Tell us what you've done?

Is it really so hard to believe that a conservative who has done more for the movement than you has a problem with nominating a woman who can't name any Supreme Court decisions she disagrees with other than RvW? Really?

This is also incorrect. I work with her on some fundraising projects - and she HATES Mitt Romney. She setup a site to discredit. She's been in fights with his people in that state for years.

Look - you people can believe what you want. But I invite any of you to call me or meet me in person. I'm the only real person here - everyone else is hiding behind a pretend name.

Not pinging me? Wow.

How long does a person get before they are considered 'non responsive?' I away for a day. See, I have a job.

BTW - stay tuned - two weeks the new site will be up with much more updated information for you to be paranoid about.

Yeah. In April or so. $175 or $150 to match some addresses or something like that. I also donated $2300. It's all public info.

So again, I ask, who are you?

Matt you and I have been over that once before last year

Aside from adding two 2s after my last name I have exactly the same amount of info in my screen name as you do.

Given you unprofessionlism here on FR over the past few months, perhaps you have reviled too much here.

Also just a little reminder, a little FYI if you will

“You people” are your clients constituents, the people they are or will be paying you to work with.

So again I have to ask given how I have seen you treat others here on FR, as well are your general deportment are you best representing your interests and those with whom you seek a business relationship.

I'm glad you've enjoyed me enough to surrender that much of your life to me. Do you have any other obsessions or am I the only one?

To get me to do that much work, I'd have to be PAID (har har).

To an extent. I don't work for anyone who is related to the life issue and isn't pro-life and don't work for Democrats against any Republicans. I also volunteer a lot and some of the 'clients' aren't paid but are ones we take for free because I like the cause.

Further, you can't get paid for anything in this business without doing a whole lot of volunteer work to learn. I hauled hundreds of pounds of leaflets for National Right To Life for miles back in 93 and was Pat Buchanan's coordinator for my county in 96. I've volunteered for candidates and causes so obscure you can't find them on Google. There's a huge project we are doing now for a *very* worthy cause.

There's nothing fundamentally wrong with Palin on the issues. I don't disagree with her. And if I had a feeling that she would really kick butt in the general, I'd be optimistic about her and more supportive. But given what I've seen, I just can't support a candidate who knows less than I do about issues and history and who comes across as an intellectual dullard. Sorry.

E Jones?

Ok, that's not playing fair. My name may as well be S Smith.

Your profile page is pretty lulz. It's about as out of date as my website.

Look here in the next few days for a quick list of free cut and paste Fred Thompson Bashing statements so you too can play the "Bash the guy who is kicking our ass!" game along with me...

Maybe want to change that.

Um I even have my state...

Narrows it down quite a bit vs your stateless page.

And it is playing fair since Jones is my name.

And I gave you my first name many moons ago.

Evan M. Jones is the whole thing.

Next...
