To an extent. I don't work for anyone who is related to the life issue and isn't pro-life and don't work for Democrats against any Republicans. I also volunteer a lot and some of the 'clients' aren't paid but are ones we take for free because I like the cause.

Further, you can't get paid for anything in this business without doing a whole lot of volunteer work to learn. I hauled hundreds of pounds of leaflets for National Right To Life for miles back in 93 and was Pat Buchanan's coordinator for my county in 96. I've volunteered for candidates and causes so obscure you can't find them on Google. There's a huge project we are doing now for a *very* worthy cause.

There's nothing fundamentally wrong with Palin on the issues. I don't disagree with her. And if I had a feeling that she would really kick butt in the general, I'd be optimistic about her and more supportive. But given what I've seen, I just can't support a candidate who knows less than I do about issues and history and who comes across as an intellectual dullard. Sorry.

I earned my stripes many years ago volunteering and moved up back in the day as well. Mainly local but some national campaigns at the local level, so I too know from whence I speak

So again I have to ask, given your client base as described, is insulting and showing out in front of their core demographic set as is represented by many here on FR a wise course?

And before you go and say something stupid like “you dumba$$s don't represent yada yada yada” you list Haley Barbour as a former client and I have been a long time Barbour supporter. If he so chooses to run nationally it will also be the first time in almost 20 years that I will actually come out and work in any given significant capacity for a politician.

So I am your core demographic Matt.

I also am quite fond of Palin. She has a certain charisma and bearing that is political gold if handled correctly. That you don't see that is a tick odd given your "political creds" but that is another matter.

So tell me I am an idiot, an ass, a back bencher etc.

Wow, you are just SOOOOOOOOO smart, Matt! I just tremble at your intellectual prowess and depth.
