Fineman Calls Michael Steele ‘Lazy’

Well, at least he didnt call him shiftless . . .
On this afternoons Hardball, Howard Fineman twice called RNC Chairman Michael Steele lazy, adding he doesnt work that hard.
Now, I dont in fact believe there was any racial overtone involved. I am explicitly not accusing Fineman of racism. But I mention the incident to illustrate the double standard.

Howard Fineman used to pretend to be objective.

Maybe Rush should call Obama "lazy" tomorrow and then start a countdown timer that stops when Jackson, Sharpton and the other usual suspects demand that he be taken off the air.
My guess is that timer wouldn't run too long.

"Howard Fineman used to pretend to be objective. I used to think, naively of course, that the country's "journalist" would get a grip on themselves shortly after the election. I was wrong.
As you put it, Fineman (and many, many others) really don't even pretend to be objective anymore. Matt Lauer was on Fallon's show last night ripping Carrie Prejean, all because she dare say the same thing Obama campaigned on, but was never questioned about.
Until conservative and Republican guests start taking on this bias every time they're interviewed by one of these faux-journalists, it's never going to change.

Steele has been running all over the country meeting with local Republicans and has raised a boatload of money for the RNC.
Just imagine what he could do if he wasn’t such a lazy guy :)
What they are obviously trying to do is define him in the public eye before he gets to do it for himself.

Did he call him “shiftless” or “lowdown”?
What’s next, complimenting his singing ability?

You need to start calling the G.E. stations, NBC, CNBC and MSNBC as:
G.E. State-TV
There is a new article on NB, with the G.E. chairman carrying the water for Obamah's Cap&Trade vision.

Hey Fineman...
Is he a lazy coon? Does he love chicken-fried watermelon? Has he "got rhythm"?
Just shut the hell up.

They said the same of Fred Thompson in the primaries. It is their way of marginalizing a person.

Why didn’t he just say that the only three things Michael is looking for in life are tight women, loose shoes and a warm place to crap?
