ABC News' Z. Byron Wolf reports that on Capitol Hill, during a GOP presser in which Senators were talking about the need to keep the detainee center at Guantanamo Bay open, Sen. Jim Inhofe, R-Okla., argued that "anyone, any detainee, over 55 has an opportunity to have a colonoscopy" as an example of how un-harsh life at Gitmo can be.
"Now none of them take 'em up on it, because once they explain what it is, none of them want to do it," Inhofe said. "But nonetheless it's an opportunity that they have."
Is that a medical procedure or a form of torture?
A colonoscopy costs about $3,500. I bet illegal aliens get em for free but if you have an HSA plan - you have to pay for it.
Sphincter boarding is a war crime.
If described a certain way I’m sure that a colonoscopy would be considered torture.
Put the camera on the front of a Kenworth.
“Sphincter boarding is a war crime.”
That is not as serious a crime as forcible viewing of Helen Thomas in the nude. :-)
I wonder if I’ll get the same access to free health care when I’m classified as a “domestic terrorist”? You know, a conservative believing Catholic/Christian, pro-innocent life, gun toting heterosexual male?
As a taxpayer, I demand that GITMO detainee’s colonoscopy videos be personally reviewed by the Speaker of the House and the House Intelligence Committee for details of detainee’s release of critical and actionable intelligence.
TO BOLDLY GO WHERE NO MAN HAS GONE BEFORE.
"Well, Abdul, we're gonna stick this here hose up yer tookus and take a bunch of pictures until it comes out yer nose..."
"No no! I will talk!"
"No, lissen, Abdul, it's fer yer own good. We all do it..."
"You are a fiend! This is against international law!"
"No, wait there, Abdul. All ya gotta do is drink this here stuff and you'll poop for about eight hours..."
"This is inhuman! I am notifying Amnesty Inernational!"
"...and starve for 24 hours and then we do the up-yer-butt tonsil check..."
"It is enough! Waterboard me, please!"
Actually, they could get the same thing at any American prison. The only difference is that the procedure will be performed by their cellmate 'Tiny'!
Torture: Only if the probe diameter exceeds 7 inches.
Medical Procedure: Only if the probe diameter is between 5-to-7 inches.
Pleasure: Only if the probe diameter between 3-to-5 inches.
For one has to, unless Canadian procedures are not as advanced as others, start the night before. It is an orange tasting liquid taken all at once. to absolutely clear the system. I had cried and resisted. I could hardly take it even in sips. but my spouse stomped on me (laughs).
Result first "Katie Couric" two and a half polyps. Second one: one and a half polyps. Third and last "Katie" half a polyp .
I know how to handle the orange drink now and kill the taste buds with orange juice first, then swig it.
Man, those devils do not know how lucky they are- being offered this. I expect the rotten so and so's even get one of the greatest miracles (my view) in medical science. This is pennicillen. The British Army refused to give me any for boils. Thought it was a waste of the stuff.
Excuse the rant, and love Katie for at least one thing. LOL
