Sri Lanka is such a beautiful country. This really had to be done, or there would never have been any kind of peace.

He was riding in an armor plated van, the SL Army fired a shoulder launched rocket into the van, besides taking part of his head off, he had extensive burns besides.
Actually the LTTE tiger-in-chief was riding in a stolen ambulance with two of his top aides, along with two vans.
The SLA ambushed the three vehicles, peppering them with gunfire. The ambulance Prabhakaran was riding in caught fire and he was partially burned.
