What a pathetic article.
The author seems very, very jealous of Sarah.

Looking at her picture, I reiterate my point: Jane Alison is extremely jealous of Sarah Palin.

Some pointers for Jane Alison and for the Boston Globe:
1. Palin has a job, and her finances are in order. That puts her way ahead of the Globe editors and the paper as a whole.
2. You don't look terribly smart driving away the only demographic that reads a daily paper, but you look even less so when you do it by making fun of someone who is so much smarter than your editorial writers.

Oh, she can write. Purple. Excerpts:
"The Chinese tied him to a tree. This did not bode well" (No kidding!)
"Josephine stood up, unsteady, and looked over the edge, into the roiling water. Deep, she knew. Forty-five feet! That was herself times just over eight."
"She could have given him what he wanted, when he begged her, and he would have undone everything--he would have burned the precious thing himself."

Isn’t the Boston Globe going out of business?
Oh gee, I wonder why? /sarc

I thought Ellen Goodman was the worst writer at the soon-to-be defunct Boston Globe. Guess I was wrong.

After attempting to read this crap I had to wonder; just what kind of idiots do the editors at the Globe think their readers are? No wonder rags like this are sliding into irrelevance.
