Jon Huntsman prepare for a possible presidential run says the Republican party is in for a devastating defeat if its guiding lights are Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh and Dick Cheney. “If it’s 2012 and our party is defined by Palin and Limbaugh and Cheney, then we’re headed for a blowout,” says strategist John Weaver, who advised Huntsman and was for years a close adviser to Sen. Between her disastrous Couric interview and the SNL parodies, including her own appearance, she is toast.

Yup, that's why the Obama crowd had to put plants in the McCain/Palin crowds to shout "kill him" in an attempt to discredit her.

If Palin could draw > 10,000 deeply enthusiastic supporters in Minnesota, she's still got it.

There is no way that in the US we would roundup every illegal immigrant -there are about 12 million of the illegal immigrants- not only economically is that just an impossibility but that’s not a humane way anyway to deal with the issue that we face with illegal immigration.

Do you then favor an amnesty for the 12 or 13 million undocumented immigrants?
No, I do not. I do not. Not total amnesty. You know, people have got to follow the rules. They’ve got to follow the bar, and we have got to make sure that there is equal opportunity and those who are here legally should be first in line for services being provided and those opportunities that this great country provides.

I am not saying there is no place for them in our party. I am saying that th emedia and Left can destroy a person;s reputation of they want to. And they destroyed Sarah Palin's in large part with her help. She was foolish to appear on Couric's show before she had gained some savvy in tune-up interviews with friendlies and broadened her knowledge base, and she should have never gone on SNL to help them marginalize her.

I read this as the RINO’s, who do not like or represent US, don't like Conservatives, and they are scared to death of Palin, Limbaugh, AND Cheney!! That is why they are working so hard to undermine our conservative values. So when the left media destroys a conservative we should just give up on them and trot someone else out. Comparing Palin to Qualyle is beyond ridiculous. At some point conservatives (or atleast people who want to pass them selves off as conservatives) need to stand up and fight. Laura Ingraham was saying this much today. BTW Go Packers!

P.s. I personally doubt Palin runs in 2012. She doesn't need to and it IMHO should be obvious by early 2011 whether Obama is re-electable or not. If America want to go on an 8 year run of marxist socialism a then let it and Palin can run in 2016.
