Please post all information about today's protests here.
My phone is already ringing steadily.
Our AIP folks on the ground at the Notre Dame gates report that the CBR plane is in the air.

When you've seen one, you spot them quickly afterwards. I worked with dozens and scores of such types when I had a position at another Catholic university. Flamers in the clergy always go soft on abortion because they want leniency and moral pardon for themselves. The enthusiasm shown for Obama at this event was in the hysterical range. ND's president exposed himself as an hysterical Obama supporter. It was a little embarrassing. Had I been a student or faculty member there, I would have walked out.
I just thank God we didn't have to go through that at our college graduation.

Although Catholics like Alan Keyes, Randall Terry, Fr. Norm Weslin, and many others rightfully took the lead in this protest, many Protestants stood right behind them. The spirit of love and cooperation between everybody on the ground in South Bend has been remarkable. These are the sort of events, steeped as they are in constant prayer, that produce revival in a nation. Great comment, EV.
When it comes to this issue, where we attend church is not important.
That we all stand together for innocent life, is.

It was actually very moving to read the Baptist pastor's account of witnessing for the pro-life cause at Notre Dame. That the Obama controversy brought Catholics, Baptists, and other Protestants together in common cause to defend the sanctity of life is something that should grow from here. It doesn't have to end here.

Obama is a complete hypocrite. His every word, his every act, destroys the possibility of the “common ground” that he loves to talk about.
It is only the common ground of principle that can possibly produce true unity.

Exactly. I talked today by phone with several of my out-of-state Missouri Synod Lutheran compadres.
Believe me, we're standing shoulder-to-shoulder with pro-life Catholics everywhere. I didn't even have to bring The Speech up with them. They waded right into it with me, LOL.

People actually have the gall to say as such at AA meeting you attend?

What’s interesting is that Randall Terry, Alan Keyes, Fr. Weslin, and Norma McCorvey are all converts to the Catholic Faith.

People actually have the gall to say as such at AA meeting you attend? They are taught this in rehab centers and reading new-age psychobabble books. Some of the DUMBEST things I've EVER heard have been in open discussion AA meetings and that I why I will only attend speaker meetings or closed Big Book study meetings.

From Friday...Fr. Norm is flanked and supported by two great Baptist pastors.
Sometimes pictures truly are worth far more than a thousand words!

That's a GREAT photo!
Thanks. It will make a good historical record for the history books.

I don’t know about Fr. Weslin, but Alan Keyes is a cradle Catholic.

The man crush with the fawning and gushing was a little too obvious this time.

I’ve got a bunch of folks with cameras full of photos who can’t download them until they get home. Some real treasures are on the way later!
