CORONA – Several thousand people turned out at a rally Saturday hosted by KFI's "The John and Ken Show" to protest proposed state tax increases.
Show co-host Ken Chiampou said he and his co-host, John Kobylt, were giving the crowd an opportunity to voice its anger and opposition to six ballot propositions that, if passed, would raise taxes.

CRA Opposes Props. 1A-1F

The California Republican Assembly (CRA) has voted to OPPOSE Propositions 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D, 1E & 1F on the May Special Election Ballot. All CRA members and voters are requested to vote no on each of these propositions.

1F takes money from Mental Health Services and put it into the General Fund. That’s what I hear.
Maybe there should be a ballot intiative which FORCES the AG/State Legislator to put ~CLEAR LANGUAGE~ on the intent of future “ballot intiatives” before the CA public!! GLAD I DON’T LIVE in CA!

I am having trouble with these kinds of John and Ken events. I like what they say, but it just looks like a radio station publicity stunt over and over. How many of these event attendees voted in state elections the last 10 years? Do they ever vote?
The state legistrature is highly democrat and has been for decades. They have fought fair re-districting according to population & census.
Even a strong republican governor can do little. The Sacremento encumbant state legistrators are always voted BACK IN. They are bankrupting the state by paying out billions benefiting illegal aleins.
Why isn’t John and Ken having ‘stop paying out benefits for illegal alien’ events?

Well, the language must have been clear enough for the overwhelming majority of Caliornians, both Dem and Republican to vote down 1A-1E, and appprove 1F.
