CORONA Several thousand people turned out at a rally Saturday hosted by KFI's "The John and Ken Show" to protest proposed state tax increases.
Show co-host Ken Chiampou said he and his co-host, John Kobylt, were giving the crowd an opportunity to voice its anger and opposition to six ballot propositions that, if passed, would raise taxes.

I can only handle John and Ken’s rants for so long.
They are spot on with stuff going on in the state, however!
Yikes!
Wow. Quite the collection of ‘unpatriotic’ Americans, right, Joe Biden????
My opinion exactly!!!
That should make the front page of every newspaper!
Great graphic, L. I’d say the people of California are tired of taxes. That’d be my guess. But I’m quick. There isn’t much that gets by me.
LOL
some nice pics there I especially like this one:

We, here in the Central San Joaquin Valley are planning a HUGE 4th of July Freedom Rally to be held at the International Agri-center in Tulare from 9AM to 2PM. We are expecting 10,000 at least (and we are hoping that is a low estimate). Caravans will be arriving on HWY 99 coming down from the north of Fresno and up from Bakersfield. Great speakers, great music, and a street march on the frontage road along 99. This is a family event with lots vendors (Yay! Free Enterprise) and lots of entertainment for the kids. This is being hosted by the grassroots Central Valley Tea Party group that drew 8,000 to their Tea Party in Fresno on April 15th.
FreeRepublic will have an information booth at the rally. FReepers can meet up there and we can give information to people who might like to join our website. Everyone within driving distance, please plan on coming. You don't want to miss this one!
I hope you don't mind if I post a link to the thread discussing this event. Links on that thread will take you to the Central Valley Tea Party Website where there is a discussion board and more information.

Wish I was able to be among 'em!!! Rats!
Thanks for the ping...but isn’t it YES for NO on 1F - VOTE ‘YES’ IF YOU DO NOT WANT LEGISLATOR PAY RAISES (during budget deficits) - Proposition 1F is about no pay raises for legislators in the years when there is no balanced budget
