He should give her a call. You know, give her a “pep talk”.

> Finally, there’s the strange and frankly unsettling image makeover of the Saudi royals. The Bush family’s alleged intimacy with an extremist monarchy formed the very backbone of the anti-Bush industry. Yet, upon taking office Barack Obama commented on the bravery of King Abdullah and went on to virtually adopt the Saudi Peace Initiative as American policy. The administration is also seriously considering sending released Guantanamo detainees through the Saudi “jihad rehab” program. A week ago, “60 Minutes” aired a prime-time broadcast praising the same absurdity. The free pass Barack Obama gets on his all-encompassing embrace of Riyadh leaves the score of anti-Bush best sellers and documentaries looking a little less than credible.

All I know is that this current president actually BOWED before a Saudi king. Nuff said.

"Bush is an incompetent leader. In fact, he's not a leader. He's a person who has no judgment, no experience and no knowledge of the subjects that he has to decide upon ... He has on his shoulders the deaths of many more troops, because he would not heed the advice of his own State Department of what to expect after May 1 when he...declared that major combat is over. The shallowness that he has brought to the office has not changed since he got there." - Nancy Pelosi

Bush, you still screwed us over and contributed to the current mess we now have to overcome. Did some things right, for sure. But really screwed some things up, and mostly, did a horrible job of explaining/defending the whats and whys of your Administration. So you let the other side define all of it, and they were successful in demonizing all of us in the process. Now we have a commie for a president.

I blame George Bush for two things: (i) his failure to effectively defend his policies and (ii) Paulson/TARP. He probably is a good man, but those twin failures put the Country on the path to Socialism.

once this generation of pansy liberal ass-clowns passes to hades..I am fully confident that Bush will be FULLY vindicated...maybe not all of his economic policies or policies in general...but he was the right man for America when we needed him most..and there is NO doubt he loves America and ALL people in it (often to his fault)..which is more than we can say about 90% of those is power now....

>>> the drama over CIA interrogations and Guantanamo will hopefully serve to set the administration on a more serious national security course. <<<

Fat chance!

Bush may have been cozy with the Saudi’s but he never bowed to them like Obama did.

And speaking of Dick Cheney: Not only has he proved to be an important and articulate defender of the Bush administration's national-security policy; his repeated interviews and statements have done Bush the service of drawing fire away from the former president. Bush not only looks wise these days; he looks modest and thoughtful as well. And Cheney's (denied) request to declassify more CIA interrogation memos explodes the myth of the "most secretive administration in American history."

Love it! That's our guys!

"God bless him, bless his heart, president of the United States -- a total failure, losing all credibility with the American people on the economy, on the war, on energy, you name the subject."

She actually said this? unggggggggg. I can't even allow myself to think what I want to say.

I look forward to the day when "journalists" look back to when Pelosi and Reid took over Congress and then critically look at the economy before and after.

Bush, for all is supposed faults and shortcomings, and the Republican congress did a lot of good for the economy despite inheriting a recession, having the country attacked on 9/11 and then fighting two wars against islamic terror.

Perhaps when the Bush tax cuts expire, and the obamanation economy responds as it will, "journalists" will have a reason to review recent history.
